Tim, let me tell you that this is the best thing I did for the car when it came to handling also is that I added Yokohama AVS sports to them. The weight and grip outdid many cars I raced on the track, I never spun out or lost control of the vehicle. You will be able to predict by feel of the cars slip of the grip. Your car relies on what it rides on and it will do AT LEAST 2 times better than stock so there you have it.GOOD LIGHT WHEELS AND TIRES. ADD SOME BIG BRAKES AND POWER you got yourself and champ prepared for fight against any high powered stock car. My 348 will kill my Diablo in handling any day even though the Diablo has wider P-Zeros.

if you go with lighter wheels - IF they are significantly lighter, they can improve more than the rotating mass in acceleration. They'll help out in braking and cornering, as the suspension will have less to deal with - slightly less, but still, every bit counts when you are pushing 10/10ths.

Modman, did you notice an improvement in performance with the lighter wheels because of the reduced unsprung weight and reduced rotating mass?

IMO, Fikse, Kinesis, and HRE are all very similar in high quality wheels. I am a dealer for both the Kinesis and HRE wheels, so if you have any questions or wish to get some, ask away. I can also throw you some personal pictures of the HRE's on a few different cars (some from their HRE booth at SEMA in Vegas of last year).

Yeah, I've got a set on my '78 GTS. You can see pix of the car at ferrari308.com (under owners, CA).

Good quality wheel. The are made in the San Diego area.
