I do have a ferrari gift set I got in London 2 years ago. It has ferrari shampoo and cologne and aftershave and even deoderent spray...the girls love it..so I wear it.. I dont think perfume is going overboard though..i think shoes or sunglasses maybe..

That's the truth. When they printed the 2002 F1 racing budgets, Ferrari lists $43 million from "other sources", which is separate from sponsors' and factory money. Basically, that's hats, shirts, clown shoes, condoms, posters with bikini-clad women...

Get with it folks! There are enough wannabes out there that Ferrari makes FAR more money from perfume & other branded junk than from the cars. This stuff supports our cars' developments.

Tell everyone else how great this stuff is, just don't be a goof and wear it yourself!

Harley condoms, LOL. Based on Ferrari reliability, if they ever do put their name on a condom I for one wont use it.

Yeah, Ferrari has a long way to go before they catch Harley. But I hope that's not a goal of theirs. I prefer to blame the "Schumacher Factor". If you think Ferrari has a lot of merchandise, have you ever seen all the crap HE puts his name on? The success of their F1 team has created a lot of spill-over as far as merchandising.

Look at the commercilization that Harley Davidson has done. Harley Condoms? Ferrari is not guilty at all compared to those guys.

I realize several things about Ferraris recent over commercialization. I don't need a Ferrari anything except for the car. I bought the car because it is good. In the same respect I buy clothes, phones, bags, etc because they are good. Does Ferrari really make the best of these items? I don't think they do. Would it make sense to buy an inferior item for obviously 3 maybe 4 times the cost just because it says Ferrari. I know this may not apply to the phone, I mean Ferrari isn't making it, but it applies to a lot of other things. Also, I find it to be somewhat, how should I say, gay to be constantly littered in Ferrari stuff. Nothing beats the guy that gets out of his red Ferrari in a red jumpsuit that says Ferrari, red Ferrari shoes, red Ferrari hat, maybe some Ferrari jewelry...Why don't you just go to Italy and become the Ferrari execs' b_tch. I mean you're obviously in love with them, why not make out with them too. Not even the American manufacturers go to the same extent of Ferrari. When was the last time you saw Ford sunglasses, shoes, phones, toys, jewelry, etc. I'm confused here, but I could have sworn I was interested in the company for their cars and nothing else.

In all, whoever is making Ferrari into a trendy name to slap on everything should die, or at least be tied down to a telephone pole and have hard rubber erasers thrown at them.

ive seen an actual limosine style phone in a 456 with the ferrari logo...the accorseries guys at ferrari have been doing them for some time now.. I know it takes away from what a ferrari is meant for, but if you use it alot or as a daily driver as some people here do, a in car cell phone is a good idea..but im for the limo style phone that stays in the car not the cheap motorola phone..if u want that get a benz lol

I'm guessing that when I take that long cross country trip in my 512 I don't want a Ferrari branded cell phone as my only backup....Norm

How are you going to deal with the shame of having an out-of-date Nokia when Motorola is the coming thing?

Now that the clown shoes are selling well, Ferrari is introducing Ferrari-branded Motorola phones. From now on, in addition to the normal $3,000 to $5,000 in annual servicing costs, Montezemolo will expect us to budget a similar amount for trinkets and trash.
