Foreign exchange is good. Evans Automotive is good too in Columbus. Last time I lived in Columbus he was driving a Lambo that be buildt from the ground up from a totaled chassis. Midwest auto group is the Ferrari dealer in Columbus. Dayton as you well know is a GM town and you better be careful on where you park it..if at all. Good luck not getting the car key'd. I know...I lived in Dayton for years. |

John: I am from Kettering originally. I and my father have used a couple of different independent mechanics there for many years. My father was a Porsche guy and he trusted his mechanic Ray Thacker at Stuttgart Automotive in Centerville implicitly. He also did some minor work on his 355 Spider a few years ago. He specializes in Porsche but is good at pretty much everything. Another outfit is The Foreign Exchange. They did a major cam belt service on my 86 Testerossa a few years back. I was pleased overall. Columbus Ohio is only 1 hr east. There is an independent called Evans who is supposed to be good. |
