Put in a Becker 6 CD in my 360 (since the radio was a Becker) and it never has jumped. |

It depends on the type of CD player that you have. I live in TX and we have cats eyes all over and my CD player will sometimes skip (non Ferrari sports car with a slightly soft suspension). Higher end players will have better damping in the mechanism that suspends the disc as well as a higher oversampling rate that will prevent the periods of time when the CD player is trying to re-read the info it skipped. |

My CD player jumps and the sound cuts out for approx seconds everytime I hit a cats-eye marker or rut in the road. I notice it does this more often when the right side front wheel hits a rough patch. Is this common or is the CD faulty? Dont want to rush out and replace it if the new one is going to do the same. |
