Hi Stu, You have mail! Normally we like people to place their order online via www.owners.ferrari.com (you have to register if you haven't already done so) but we realise that this isn't always possible. In this case the window switches aren't available online so drop me a mail with your details and I'll get them sent to you. Best Mark |

Jeff, By classic not made in 10 years are you talking model like 348 last made 1994 or model year as in 348 1989 so you can sell parts and give tech info on? |

I feel dumb not knowing this, but how do you place an order with Ferrari UK? I would like to order two of the window switches talked about on another thread. Thank you! |

Jeff, I too have to commend your efforts both on this list and in general for your helpful, and timely responses to parts questions and repairs. Your dedication of time and effort, (I hope) will pay off in a strong loyalty to your operation. You've convinced me! Best regards from the USA, Dave |

Hi Jeff, Well, I want to thank and commend you and your Team for being a Public source of help and not hiding behind the veil of Arrogant Indifference of your US counterparts. Regards, JRV |

Hi all... JRV - thanks for the ++ input. Re pricing here and abroad; I cannot comment on pricing structures of other importers and dealers except to say that here in the UK we try to price parts for the older or Classic cars realisticly. The owner of a 328 etc is as important to us as the owner of a brand new 360. Doody/TomD - Classics are cars (or to be precise families of cars) which have been out of production for a minimum of 10 years. 348 and Testarossa are not there yet because they are in a different family to the earlier cars. Hope this all helps !

thanks jeff. does that mean "a model not manufactured for the last ten years" or "a car manufactured 10 or more years ago"? ie: is a 1992 348 "classic" or is it not because the 348s were produced into 1995? doody. |

Hi Jeff & Malcom, First, Jeff & Mark, thanks for prompt & profesional parts service, unbelievable and refreshing compared to all of the dealers I deal with except for Algar who is also great. To my question. You may have noticed the lack of participation here by any FNA Dealers (if I missed one sorry, speak up and remind me). Now that you are publically posting parts prices and now Tech assistance (timely as to the thread I started about what a good idea this would be) how will this go over with the secrative price fixing US Dealers? (it hasn't gone un-noticed you warehouse 100's of thousands of "Back Order/NLA" parts well below US retail) Have you recieved any complaints from US Dealers? |

Jay - we are on it. I know exactly what you mean; Morris 1000 had felt ones too and MGB had rubber ones !! :-O |

This is great Jeff. Just wondering about the updated window trim for our cars. Most of our cars simply had a strip of felt between the window and the door. The update has felt on the inside with a rubber seal that touches the window. This stops the water from pouring into the door. I've sent pics to Mark but I haven't heard back yet. He's probably lost in the back somewhere looking for trim! This applies not only to the GT4 but all early cars. |

Hi all. Some of you may have now noticed that we have a new name on Ferrarichat. Malcolm West has been with our Company for MANY years and was a technician when your older cars were new. Where appropriate he will be helping us all out with technical problems so we'll be able to offer a full parts/tech service to all owners of 'Classic' Ferraris only ! Don't all post at once please ! Regards |
