Eli, That's true. However, given the current 6-month interest rates, the lost interest could still be less than taxes saved. It would just need to be a factor in the equation. Plus, who knows, perhaps the dealer would credit some of the interest.

Eli,

I do not know the mileage, but I believe it to be less than 10k, but that is a guess.

My friend is the 2nd owner, he changes cars as often as I change socks!

Eli,

I was going to see who was sharp enough to win the prize!

Actually there were 8 US spec 2000 Spiders, this is one of the 8.

I don't know anyone in my area who has gotten one under 225k for a US car. Euros are much cheaper.

By the way Paul,I highly recommend the 246. More fun to drive than any other F-car I have owned.

Fred, the only drawback by selling thru the dealer now is that they will be holding to $200k for 6 months until the Stradale arrives.

$190-215k, assuming all books, records, etc... are in order.

By the way, your tag in your profile indicates Michigan. You may want to sell sooner, rather than waiting a few months. The prices don't seem to be rising and winter is on it's way.

Lastly, see if the dealer will do the paperwork and/or trade. You may be able to avoid some serious sales taxes that could influence your sales decision.

Lemme get this straight.....you've owned a six-speed Spyder for over two years now, and you've only racked up 3K miles? You must NOT like the car much....I'll give you $50K for it.

I will be getting a Stradale in the spring and have been thinking about selling the 360 Spider in the next couple of months. It is a 2001 US model, delivered in April 01, six speed with carbon fiber sport seats, Tubi exhaust, yellow/black, 3000 miles, flawless condition. What do you guys think a fair asking/selling price is at the current time?

Thanks
