Martin, I agree, they do look cool. We're already making them (355 engine bay side covers), and they'll be available next week. |

Chris, as a suggestion: Look inot a 355 engine bay. They have the two panels that cover some electronics behind them on either side. Those would look very cool in carbon.

Todd, Still awaiting for the upper console, should be here this week. The shifter console fits perfect. It took only 10 mins to install. I've kept the orginal console, in cae I ever sell the car. I will send photos when its all completed. Bryon, I must see the 348 airbox. The C/F one will save a lot of weight as well. The original one is heavy. |

J, glad to hear everything fits... I can't wait to get all the parts onto my 348CH as well. Chris has really worked on building some quality parts. It really shows. Todd, it will be neat to see how this CF looks on your Black 348. I'm not getting the vents, but will be prototyping chris' airbox for the 348. You can check it out on my car before buying it for yours... |

Chris. I got my C/F shifter console for my 348 today. It looks so cool . It fitted perfect, no problems at all. I had to pay custom tax on the console. When is the upper console arriving ? any ideas, has it been sent, if when ? Cannot wait to get the upper console fitted. Its transformed the interior of the car. its basically updated the inside. Well done for great workmanship. I reckon when other ferarri owners sees the C/F consoles on my car they will want the same. |

Neal, Byron's correct - it doesn't protrude lower than the stock spoiler by more than the thickness of the material - about 1/8". Here's an approximate cross-section drawing of the spoiler and lip and how they're connected. -Chris

Very nice Chris. My front splitter is cracked and due for a replacement - I'll order one from you soon (2-3 months timeframe). BTW, when will the other piece of the center console be ready? I am planning to replace my console as well but would prefer to order it as a set. Thanks for making these for us. |

neal, the rivets are below the front spoiler, as in the Series Speciale. Once secured, the front lip sits ahead of the front spoiler. Chris, ready and waiting, buddy. Give me a call when you get a chance. |

if this mounts under the existing spoiler wont it lower the front even more causing more scraping on curbs, etc. can it be mounted in front of the stock spoiler? |

Amir, unfortunately, it will not fit the 355 - we'll have to cook up something for you guys, too. Todd, your project is quite interesting - I think you'll like the custom stuff. Justin, the splitter mounts on the bottom edge of the front spoiler. Ferrari drills 1/8" holes in the bottom (flat) edge of the fiberglass spoiler (part of the front bumper), then rivets the splitter on with 1/8" rivets. I suggest doing the same. Since the spliter is pre-drilled, it should be used as a template (drilling guide). It can be taped or held in place while the doles are drilled in the spoiler. Since the holes are on the bottom, they won't show. I suppose other methods could be used, but I think rivets are the most secure and least intrusive. The airbox is progressing well, hopefully you'll still be willing to test the prototype, Byron. (I got your e-mail but was too tired for a proper response - you'll hear from me soon.) Martin and Byron, as always, thanks for the support!

Valence USA is proud to introduce our carbon fiber spoiler lip for the 348. This spoiler lip is similar to the fiberglass "speciale" lip, but much stronger. It features carbon fiber/Kevlar sandwich construction with a urethane clear-coat finish. Mounting holes are pre-drilled on the underside for installation with 1/8" rivets (not included). While it can't and won't prevent all impacts from causing damage to your spoiler/front bumper, this spoiler lip will take most of the small scrapes and bumps caused by driveways, ramps, etc. It also functions as a smooth-bottom splitter, providing some aerodymanic benefits. Price is $650. The Spoiler lip is also available in primer grey for $550. To order, e-mail us at [email protected], or call 434-977-7951. Thanks! Valence USA Charlottesville, VA www.valenceusa.com
