For +160k I would have a 246 Dino and a 328 for a daily driver. |

The most recognized race car in the world by name? The Mach 5! Noted on the car for sale. What special features did the Mach 5 have? The great volcano race and the mountain closing race for a thousand years. Remember that? |

Ahhh yes, the Mammoth Car. that would be a sweet ride. No would try to cut me off in that! But that fact is, $160,000 for that vette? Sorry folks, I'd have a 288GTO built by Norwood Autocraft instead. P.S. Speeds older bother, the Famous Racer X, is really REX RACER. He ran away years ago to join the FBI. (run on sentence scripting like the show, just say it really fast) Why is this info burned into my mind! |

I remember this villain on Speed Racer called the "Mammoth Car". It was red and looked like a very long train without the tracks. It tore up everything in sight. As far as I remember, no one was ever shown actually driving it, must have had a mind of its own. |

Guys, I think what William is trying to say here is, "If it walks like a Duck and it quacks like a Duck then it probably is a Duck." William your opinion is recognized and accepted. |

I saw an official copy of the real car at a Dallas car show last year and it was for sale then and the bid that day did not reach asking price at 160k or so. The car had 800 HP and had a one year contract to the movie studio for a national tour as a show car. The car has real future show profit potential to the owner. yes I was a BIG fan of speed racer. Racer X was my hero. Trivia: Name someone from the show hero and viline? |

If that's the one that was on ebay awhile ago, it's got working retractable saws from the front and a whole bunch of other gadgets like a smoke screen, oil slick, etc. It could be kind of cool, but I would take a Ferrari over it I must say (but I'd take a Ferrari over a lot of unnecessary things, like for instance a kidney, I mean come on, you only really need one). |

Sorry, but I hate Kit cars unless your a SPEED Racer fan. A DJ in Dallas has one. For the money that he spent on this, he could have gotten a Ferrari. You be the judge. http://www.russmartin.com/mach5.html |
