For those seriously into chassis numbers I second visiting

http://www.red-headed.com/telaio/index.html

to check out Telaio. We have members from all around the world and have varying details of more than 25,000 cars. Edvar does a great job in keeping it all together.

Thanks guys
Do you reckon I'm safe assuming that the numbers shown on this site which is 987 for 3.2 Mondial Coupes 1986-88 accounts for US and exported models added together.

Each issue of Cavallino lists all models including race cars, numbers made, and current estimated value. Current issue arrived yesterday.

E-mail me with a fax # and I'll try to fax it to you, although print is small.

Peter,

Interesting project, your 208/308 GT4 Register!! Please contact me privately at [email protected] as I have some interesting sources for you, including many hundreds of serialnumbers. You should also contact a friend of mine, Denny Schue, who has a fantastic Dino Register. He is mainly focussing on the 246 GT(S), but also collects s/n of 308 GT4 and 208 GT4. Maybe you can cooperate? Please let me know so that we can discuss this a bit more .....

To show you I'm serious, here are most of the Dinos present at the Brands Hatch Ferrari Days, UK, 21/22 July 2001. All are RHD and on UK plates. More details are available .....

Best regards,

(wanted to start a Testarossa / 512TR / F512 M register, but 10,000 cars are simply too many ...)

You could say that J

I think its the responsibilty of an owner of one of these old cars, to keep track of the ones out there. The more lists that are out there, the better the history will be preserved (and be kept accurate).

You're an ambitious guy, is this your winter project?

I'll be posting in the future a website of a 208/308 GT4 registry. An ambitious project to say the least (more than 2800 cars built!).

I have a couple hundred so far documented (by S/N, year, colour and some specifications/unique features of the indivdual cars).

Jim, the Forza buyer's guides are good about breaking down by year, but I've never seen by color.

Does anyone know where to get a more detailed breakdown? Number by year, number by color, etc?

Hi Joe. Check "Model List" in the left menu of this website. It says that there are 987 Mondial 3.2 Coupes made between 1986 and 1988.

I will check at home if I can find some details of the # of cars made in that specific year and for that specific market ....
