Paul - Congrats on your 28th.... I was way too busy in the car to stand next to any cliff but thanks for asking.. Turned down three times. I guess she doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.. LOL Just kidding.. Show that woman you love her and don't stop asking.... We agreed on our First Honeymoon that after 10 years we will go back to Hawaii and do it again and we did just that.. We now said we will do it again after another 10 years.. I came back from this trip with a new found love for my wife.. This is something everyone should do to keep your relationship fresh.. We will do this every ten years and down the line, I can say I married the same women 5 times.. (Good example for the kids) |

Ron, how close were you standing to the edge of the cliff? Congrats on 10 years; I just passed 28 in June! As a matter of fact, we spent it with a bunch of Ferrari friends at Martins house on June 14th; my anniversary date! On a different note, I asked my wife to re-marry me for the past 3 anniversaries and she turned me down all 3 times! True story! Pissed me off. Any suggestions out there? |

Bill - Believe me.. It's not easy to wait after that experience.. Des - Wow ! A blast from the past... Thanx. Ken - The only reason why Hawaii is not a place for a Ferrari is that the island is too small.. I drove around Maui 3x and stopped for lunch (wifes request, not mine) Jim - My wife knows I may be in the market for a 308, so that's what she rented me at first.. When She saw I was really exited about the convertible, She upgraded.. My lady is great... Ken - The best road for a Ferrari in Muai is Holeakula crater (that bicycle mountain).. The curves would be great and the view is unbelievable....

I saw it sitting at the rental shop in Lahaina, but car was really renting from Kehei, then on our last day I was talking about not seeing any ferraris and ZOOM there it went right by me. THey also had a rough looking red 308. I was goign to take the spyder up to Hana, but like I said it was taken for 1/2 the day already. Glad you enjoyed it! |

I'm glad that Hawaii is appealing enough that people from all over the world are willing to pump our state economy with cash... I'll admit I *do* like living here... but I gotta be honest with you.... despite what you've seen on Magnum PI, it's not the best place for a Ferrari owner to live. |

Welcome back to reality, Ron ! Wow--what a great time, a great wife, and a great ride! So, now that you've been bitten, when do you get your own Ferrari? |

Thanks Des. And Jim, Yes It was the Black spyder.. Chrome rims.. The interior was trashed and it had 101,000 miles on it.. Someone even keyed the car a few days before I got it.. But like you said, It's still a Ferrari.. It was one of the best expirences I've had.. The car ran great. A/C and the radio didn't work, but WHO GIVES A @%*&... I drive that car all day and loved it.. |

was it the black 348 spyder on Maui? I tried to rent it but was taken on the day I wanted it. It looked good from a distance, but up close it was for sure a rental..still a ferrari though! |
