Rob,

All tallied up my car rental for the 360 was $3,950.00, expensive but worth every dollar.

I confirmed what I already knew about the F-1/Maunual decision and had a blast!

http://www.europeanferrarirental.com has been a sponsor of FerrariChat.com. They plan to return next year at the beginning of the year when everyone is planning their trips. The season is about over now.

I've heard nothing but good things about them. So Vernon, how much was your grand total after 4 days for fee, taxes, insurance, and etc?

thanks,
rob

Rick and Dr Shelbee
The rental process went great. They will deliver the car almost anywhere (fee) which I moved around for the pick-Up. All told I had the 360 for 4 days delivered and picked up in Italy with the allotted 600km(not enough) for just above $3,000. Each KM over is $3.00 . European Ferrari Rental was really professional, they were very easy to deal with the entire process. The car itself was extremely tight with 48,000 Miles!!! My only complaint was a bad brake noise from the front right brake which was anyoing when driving through the cities. I would Highly recommend using these guys if you would like to rent a car in Europe.

I am not sure of the factory hours but I am positive that they mean business with the rules on no photographs. Before we went in they took any and all cameras and stored them in one of several small safes built to keep all of the visitors cameras in. I can gaurantee you that you will not be taking any pictures in the factory without some sort of concealed unit.

How much would it cost to rent a 360 there??

My trip will be in the winter (Feb 2004), not sure whether lots of snow or what.

Are they open on Fridays for factory tour?? I heard no camera allowed??

I just got back from my trip to Italy. What a Great place! The food is out of this world, the people are terrific and the scenery is outstanding!

I Traveled all over from Rome to Venice and almost everywhere in between. The factory tour was great, a must for anyone traveling to the country. I got to see the 360/575 Line in full flow and of course a great deal of time watching the Enzo's being built!

I rented a red/black 360 6 speed from European Ferrari Rental and it was FANTASTIC!!!! Driving the Tuscan hills with incredible curvy roads and of course the Autostrada was amazing. I had more fun driving the car in Italy in 4 days than I have had the entire time I have owned my own 360. The Italian people go berzerk when they see a ferrari and it makes the expierence evn better.

I will post pics as soon as I can

Ciao!!
