jordan, in the Racer\data\ctrlsets directory, you'll find a bunch of controller setup files. find the .ini file that you're using and open it up with notepad or wordpad. at the top you'll find something like this: controllers { ; How many controllers to use from this list? count=2 ; Define all controllers controller0 { ; Main controller ; Index in the list of game controllers index=0 force_feedback=0 deadzone=0 } // Other controllers you want to include controller1 { keyboard=1 } } if your ini doesn't have the controller1 defined, add it and make sure it's a keyboard. it probly already does, so we can go to the next step. assuming the keyboard is defined as controller1, alter the shiftup/down to look like this: shiftup { controller=1 key=???? } do it to both up/down, and replace the "????" with whatever key you want to use. hope you enjoy the game! |

Mike, I have a quick question for you. First off, your car is gorgeous! Great job replicating it! I downloading the sim and it looks awesome. Its working fine, but I would like to change some of the controls around (ie the keys for up and down shifting) to make them similar to other racing games I play. Ive searched the website I downloaded it from and I cant seem to find out how to do that. I know Im probably missing something...What file do I edit to change my controls? Right now the shifting keys are on my joystick and I would rather have them on my keyboard. Thanks! Sorry to be off topic |

thanks for the new email address Matt, check your mail Steven: Well, i do suppose it's possible to have the KMH needle sitting above 0 while at idle. I guess I forgot to mention this is the Euro version, so no MPH here. but those of you with trained eyes can of course tell the differences (especially the lack of the hideous US-spec bumpers!) |

Mike, Looks great! Terrific job. For the ultimate realism, I suggest that the speedo sit on 10mph when the engine is running at idle, and car is standing still. Ask any 308 owner ; ) Congrats on a lovely sim. Steve |

thanks guys! yes, it's for Racer, which Marvin pointed out. You can download the car here (http://sio.midco.net/mmonhoia/) for use in Racer. The car handles fairly neutral most of the time, with the understeer of stock 308 tires present. I hope you guys like the handling if you try it out. to model it, i used the free program Zmodeler, which i'm getting away from for the time-saving Maya. oh, and Matt, i've got a couple more requests for you, but when i tried emailing you it sent back an error message?!?! is your email address still the same? |

Hey guys, a while back i posted asking for help/photos to help make a 308qv, and i'd like to thank everyone who helped out (Matt "the don" & Robert Calisi specifically). anyways, i've finished up the model and stuff, and thought that i'd share some screenshots with you guys.
