Thanks for the compliment Chris! I've spent a lot of hours on my car...I've even detailed the underside! The wheels say "Etoile" on them. I bought them 2nd hand from a guy in CA. Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in person. Cheers, Jerry.

Jerry - I saw your car last weekend at the show in Detroit. It looks sweet - especially with those rims. Who makes those by the way? My brother and I couldn't believe that it had that many miles on it!

What a coincidence...I have a black & tan 1979 308 gts with 99,000 miles that came from Cal.

My first Ferrari was a 1979 308Gts, black/tan. I put almost 100,000 miles on it. I drove it everywhere. Very dependable and sound car. Always get a pre-purchase inspection. You may want to consider a 328 for a little more money. Good luck searching.

Guys,
I took your advice, and then just decided to test drive the 79 308 anyway.
Well, I have to tell you, the car rocked. It has an ansa exhaust, and just sounds awesome. The power is smoothe all through the revs, and just wants more, the more you give. I may have to reconsider. I'm thinking about getting a ppi done on it next week.
Jim
