"every dyno of a car w/ a dual runner manifold set-up has a similar graph." And this one seems to come on later than designed. |

Does the 550 have secondary buttefly valves in the intake? If so, that would explain the drop in tq, and jump in hp at 6500;every dyno of a car w/ a dual runner manifold set-up has a similar graph. |

Did the motor stop at 5700 RPM on the second pull or did the dyno go to sleep? |

From the shape of the TQ curve, this looks like a 550 engine. I think this shows an anomoly with the variable intake resonance system. The Tq after 5500 drops faster than expected, then at 6500 it catches back up. |

The dyno couldn't handle those high values, and had a coronary. Seriously, when driving the car do you notice anything odd happening around 6500 ? |

I've never taken one of these apart, but it could be the variable intake opening fully. If you had the exhaust gas curves, I could tell you definitively. After all, that's the side of the lump that I earn my living on.

Hmmmmmm....might be some engine management induced spike? Can't imagine it being something physical. That is some serious horsepower there! Very good numbers! |

This is another try to upload the results of a dyno test on my car.
What is the spike at 6500 rpm? |
