Great post DES. It's wonderful to see F-chatters saying good things about each other for a change! As you probably know, I spent a couple of days with Bruce and his family last month and they are exceptional people. While there, I asked Bruce about you and he had nothing but good things to say, as I expected.

I called Casa Wellington Saturday to see how the party was going. Someone took the phone off the hook and I got an earful for several minutes before jealousy and a desire not to be a peeping tom forced me to hang up. Tell me, DES, was that you I heard moaning with delight? Did exposure to nine Ferrari's put you over the edge? I guess I'll have to wait for your story to find out.

Bruce/Andrea,

I would have loved to have been there, but at the last minute my son insisted that he wanted this weekend with his dad. Couldn't say no. Hope you had a great time and sorry i missed you.

Any chance of you getting to the Glen for Labor Day?

I may host another early fall F-Chat Rally at the Hamptons house. Looking at late September when the tourists leave. I'll post more on the NY-Tr-State board. Hope you can come if I can get it off the ground. Again, happy Bruce is doing good, and at least I got to see you at West Point.

Best Regards

This weekend was unforgettable; i had a tremendously awesome time at The Wellington Palace... Bruce & Andrea are two of the nicest people i've ever met...! i felt more at home at their house than i did at my OWN house...!

i'll spare the details and the pictures for my story - 'cause you know there's gonna be a story, right...? There's always a story :-).

Transportation arrangements for me to get back today were a little iffy so what'd they do...? Bruce and Andrea DROVE ME BACK from west bubble f*ck NJ, all the way to Long Island; i even had the most extreme and utter pleasure of having dinner with them once we got back... They are two of the most pleasant, most ridiculously nice people i've ever met and i almost cried when they left... i had such a great time, met some totally awesome people and... well, i'll save the details for the multiple-part story, one of which, will follow tomorrow...

Bruce & Andrea, thank you so much, i had such an awesome time; the both of you are absolutely wonderful people; you welcomed me into your home, had me at your party and didn't even get upset when i tried to steal the silverware... :-)

i can't thank you enough; i never knew i'd make such good friends here. You find some of the best things in the most unlikeliest places. :-)
