I have a strange oil leak on my 86 mondial, I am wondering if any one can help. My forward distrubter cap fills with oil it dose not coat the inside completly asI think it would if the seal was bad,but it collects in the bottem of the cap.I caint belive how good the car runs with a cap full of oil . I think the oil is seeping up the lower stud of the cam seal coover,I removed the seal cover put in a naw seal new gasket and used black sealer around the studs,then drove the car for a few thousand miles.OIL LEAK IS STILL THEAR. I took off the cap today and cleaned the whole area with solvint and q tips super clean . I started the car and drove it fof a vew miles then took the cap off there is no oil arround the cam seal ...but there seems to be som arround the lower stud NOW WHAT ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE GREAT DAVID |
