Aha!! So this is what's taking the attention from the "Bogus F-car for sale by Fchat guru" thread. I was wondering why no one was looking up serial numbers.

You can argue all day about what God or Enzo intended. You can call names and say it isn't natural. It's an emotional subject but we all have a right to an opinion. My choice? I like it in the rear. I'm not sure how else to explain it but what I like is what I like and no one can change that. I won't try to convince anyone to change but I am going to post a picture. It's a shot of the "goods" in the rear of one of the hottest bodies around IMHO.

Ok, so it's a mid engine not rear

Wow.. clear thought from the Bible thumper crowd.. I'm impressed! :-)

My point was that morals are really just opinions. The inference, which I didn't clarify, was that laws should not be based upon something and trifling as one's morals. While the subject of laws never came up, the recent headlines should spring to mind and make decent people cringe. Our current (and previous) president and a hopefully small group of gov't officials would like to enforce *their* morals upon the people. When this was done in the past, we wound up with slavery, women who couldn't vote, prohibition, etc. The gov't, like most people, should learn to manage themselves instead of wasting the time trying to tell everyone else what they should do.

Terry, if god is an emotion, that changes the whole dynamic of religion as well as this discussion... i don't "reject god" - i, in fact, tried hard to accept him for a long time, some years ago... i learned that he was an unacceptable myth; a legend, a story, a make-believe whatever that's being used these days for monetary usurpation of MANY, MANY people...

...but that's just my "belief".

Robin....

All of the things you say are true. They are also excellent proof that man cannot be seperated from sin. The most devout believer in Christ and devoted church attender you will ever meet is at the end of the day just as much a sinner as Hitler or any other monster you want to mention. The salvation Christ provides is not based on the christians ability to lead a sin free life. Its more to the opposite.... Christ died for our sins because its impossible to lead a sin free life and God was willing to sacrifice his son to pay for our sin.

DES... I cant see "love". I cant smell, touch or prove in any way that love even exists. However, I beleive it because I feel it and its self evident. God is much the same. I believe God reveals himself to everyone at some time and in some way. Its up to the individual to decide how he will respond. Some embrace God... others reject. However, each individual ultimately makes this choice and and reality of this choice is between that individual and God.

Robin: I do agree completely that one groups set of morals should not be forced on any other group. Its one thing for a group to work to convince others to believe and behave a certain way. Its totally different to attempt to force those beliefs through the law. This is the USA.... keep religion and Govt seperated!

not condoning nor condeming anyone as I can't cast the first stone, but If I were the "BIG GUY", I would definately look different at a person who gets drunk, beats and cheats on his significant other, neglects and abuses his off spring than a loving couple that displays care and responsibility to each other through a life time. The dangly bits that hang off from the body and make reproduction fun wouldn't cloud my judgement.
I'd rather live a righteous life than live a self righteous cause. but that's just my .02 & humble opinion. Self righteousness always falls hand in hand with hipocracy at some level and some degree.

Perhaps you're a little confused? What to do now? Gee, maybe it's time to pack up and eat vanilla ice cream, on your prarie of failed idealism ( or is it facism??), and throw rocks at the martys ( or is it through glass houses) of free thought that block your freshly purveyed sunshine, and refuse to let your uniform green meadows of ignorance spread like a virus to the neighboring farms... what's next on your "rattle me this, riddle me that" nonsense platter? AIDS is a myth, maybe?

Robin, you made my one of my earlier points. Why do I have to be quite and tolerate of others that I know are wrong but those same others don't want to hear about it when I tell them what I believe to be right ? If the good must tolerate the bad, shouldn't the bad also tolerate the good ? A sodomite can stand up in public and praises his/her lifestyle and how it is OK and that we should all be tolerate, but if a Christian stands up and praises Christ and what is right and moral those same people wanting tolerance then claim he can't do that as it is putting them done or is not tolerate of his conduct. You can't have it both ways. Either neither can speak or both can.

A moral man can resist his carnal desires

And why exactly would ANYONE do that...? Does that make ANY sense to you, at all...? All in the end (LOL, no pun intended), what do you get for "resisting"...? You get to go to heaven...? Death is death, dude, there's nothing after that... If there is, none of us know it or know of it... Do you know anyone that's actually been to heaven...? Anyone ever really physically see god with their own eyes or hear his/her voice...? Or jesus...? Anyone..? Beuller...?

You're caught up in a belief, a faith that's telling you you can't do things that are really okay to do...

While we're at it, let's note that sodomy incluDES oral/anal copulation; have you/do you give/receive oral sex...? If so, YOU'RE A SINNER...! Same thing with anal sex...

Now tell me... If you've ever had someone perform oral sex on you (or vice versa), did you think to yourself, 'oh, i'll just pray for forgiveness after this is done'...? If so, dude, you're not a very good christian, are you...? Not living up to your end of the spiritual bargain... Not setting a good example for other christians...

Now go home and rub one out, i know you want to. :-)

Bah..morals. 50 years ago, interracial marriage was considered immoral. Hatred, segregation, and racial favoritism were considered fine and moral. 200 years ago in America, it was morally acceptable to enslave another human being and trade them like livestock. Native Americans were immoral, godless barbarians who deserved to be wiped off the continent, and those who accomplished this were considered heros. Hitler put 6 million Jews and another 6 million gays, gypsies, Catholics, and handicapped people to their death, which was morally acceptable by his people at the time. Over a period of several hundred years, the Christian church detained, tortured, and burned millions of 'immoral' heretics and witches. Spartan soldiers considered it moral and necessary to have relations with eachother to forge a stronger bond between them. In some middle eastern countries, it is morally acceptable to beat your wife and keep women uneducated. Etc etc etc...

Bottom line is, morals are a human invention and change with the times. Your morals are not the same as anyone else's, and forcing them on someone else goes against the principles this country was founded upon. Keep them to yourself.

Andrew, a church is a group of sinners . Most of them try to avoid sin, others do not. Some churches have of late got caught up in the world of PC and how to fill pews rather than following the teachings of Christ. Just because a church ordains something does not make it right. God loves the sodomite, he just hates the sodomy. Sodomites need to be ministered to so they can repent and put away their sinful life just as Jesus spared the harlot from being stoned and told her to go and sin no more. And I love Dinos and Ferraris.

great theory, so how much has the church paid out this year alone in regards to the various law suits relating to the homosexual & paedophile habits of some of its priest's

DES, I have thought all of those things myself. But, just because I thought about them doen't mean they're right. I like everyone am a sinner. But, I strive not to sin every day even though I often fail. A moral man can resist his carnal desires more and more as he matures in Christ. As the spiritual man grows, the carnal man shrinks. That rightness and wrongness in life are reviled to us all in the Bible which is the mind of God. When you want to know what God thinks on any particular subject, look it up, you can find the answer there. As to having a penis stuck up my butt, no I have never thought about that.

Frank

dont think Enzo would do anything if you walked up to him and told him that, after all he is dead,

as for whether Homosexuality/Sodomy is right or not, you may want to take that one up with the Christian church who are ordaining openly Homosexual bishops, if this isnt giving an alternative lifestyle their blessing I don't know what is.

Please accept that everybody is different, just because you or I don't choose to live that way doesn't mean that Homosexuals do not have a right to express themselves freely, be it in relation to calling all non front engined V12 Ferraris or taking it where the sun don't shine......

Frank, fortunately for us, Enzo didn't instill his personal beliefs into his cars...

As far as your religion and thinking that man/man woman/woman relationships are wrong, well, who are you to say that...? Also, what "sicko" do you know is out there that won't tolerate anyone else's ways but wants everyone to tolerate his/her ways - besiDES yourself and your congregation, of course.

How can you sit there and say that what someone else does is sick or gross or disgusting or immoral...? Did you have sex before marriage...? Have you ever fantasized about being with two women...? Have you ever looked at another woman in a lustful way...? Have you/did you ever masturbate...? Have you ever gone into the hot chicks threads and looked at the pictures in a lustful way...? All of those things are "sins"...

As long as someone isn't have sex with animals or children and the sex is consentual, what's the problem...? Do you have some repessed feelings/hang-ups that you're holding onto that make you say some of the things you say...?

Mitch, I do not fall for your moral relativism agrument. There really is a right and wrong whether you believe it or not. For a man to have sex with a man or a women to have sex with a woman is morally wrong period. While I base my beliefs on Christainity, I believe most other religions if not all also condem such reprehensible conduct. While you may be a sodomite and enjoy your sickness, that does not equate to it being right. There is always a season of pleasure in sin, but it soon ends and you have to live with the consequences. What's queer to me is all these sickos that shout about how we must all be tolerate of them in their wicked ways yet they refuse to be tolerate of others and their quest for doing what is right. And on a Ferrari note, I would love to see you walk up to Enzo and tell him you liked to take it up your butt. I bet you wouldn't get a kiss. And, even without a morality argument it's just plain stupid for a man to stick his penis in another man's rectum. I could never trust a man that would do such a thing. Do you really enjoy doing such acts Mitch ?
