By the way, Andy, no apologies necessary, it was honest question with some hilarious answers; all in good fun, i hope you laughed, too...

Mark, a black Enzo puts the BatMobile to shame... Gotta see one in person, they're absurdly gorgeous in black... Most Ferraris look great in red, but because the Enzo has such sharp lines, the black really smoothes them out and makes the whole thing a little more subtle... See if you can put a Batman logo on a black Enzo... :-)

Bonnie, glad things are good... Too bad you couldn't make it to the party, it was awesome...

Pat, tread very lightly in that area... :-)

Jordan, you're sick and need a lot of help... we should hang out more.

Bonnie, glad to see that you're alive and kickin'... Hope all is well...

Jim, no boob job, that's just fatty tissue... i did, however, shave for that photo shoot...

Hey, Miss Treiber... i rarely see you lately, it's no wonder you'd wonder if i really existed... :-)

Mark, you're just as twisted as Jordan... The three of us should get together. :-)
Can you change the Murci to a Diablo...? i like Diablos better... Thanks.

It all makes sense now, the secret identity, the black clothes, the high speed runs through Gotham city, the black Murcielago that only goes out at night...

DES is Bruce Wayne/Batman!!!

I mentioned earlier that DES is the official FerrariChat.com mascot. Well after talking with him and Rob, I can confirm that posters will soon be made available to all the users for a low price of $69. All posters are individually autographed by "The DES" as well.

Now I know these are going to be hot items, so Ill go ahead and take care of all the orders. All payments cant be made to me (e-mail for address).

I have started a DES spotting thread just so all the pics can be seen in one place.

So when you all are fortunte enough to fly with DES in his 'other' ride...just remember who gave him his start :-)

DES = digitally enhanced species

DES is not a real person, but a scientific experiment run by the Artificial Intelligence department at the MIT. It is actually a networked computer system producing threads and answers to threads that look like made by a human, but are actually all cyber. It is a test to see how far humans can go and believe in the interaction with a machine. Proof: Notice how DES was a Ferrari newbie at first, but as time and his input progresses the system becomes smarter, in a word machine learning. Further proof: No human being has all that time and idealism to produce 6,000 posts in what, a week?

Once in a while one of the MIT students is being sent out into the world pretending to be the system. That underlines the myth. The myth of DES, not Ferrari.

Q.E.D.

Actually DES means = Deus Ex Scuderia. As you may know:

deus ex machina = "A god from a machine."
It describes the practice of some Greek playwrights (especially Euripedes) to end a drama with a god, lowered to the stage by a mechanical apparatus, who by his judgment and commands resolved the dilemmas of the human characters.

Therefore DES = deus ex Scuderia = "A 1:18 scale god from a machine"
It describes the practice of some Ferrarichat playwrights (especially Sickspeed) to end a drama with a Ferrari (Chariot of the Gods) model, lowered to the stage by a 1:18 scale mechanical apparatus, who by his judgment and commands resolved the dilemmas of the Ferrarichat characters.

Recently he has been flying across the country, riding in and driving Ferraris and writing awesome stories about his experiences. After meeting him in person, he is a damn nice guy as well.
