Nice one Phil.

Am rather partial to the Viper - I worked for Chrysler here in England in years gone by.

We developed a hardtop with electronic door locking for the RT/10 before the factory.

Used to fit the odd Hennessey bolt-on too.

Jeff

I'm glad you like that stripe on the Viper. Have a look at www.procar.com.au and go to the results or image gallery for our latest race at Phillip Island, or earlier ones at The AGP and Adelaide.

Our team theme this year is the "Shelby" stripe and it looks awesome on the challenge cars.

I was at a dealer 2 weeks ago and over heard them say decal. Aside from that, I know someone who put the stripe on his red 360 Challenge and they used a decal. it looks perfect and probably only cost him a few hundred $$ to have it made and installed on the car. You may end up seeing other 360 street cars doing the same.

So to charge 3100 + vat for a sticker is less insane than to charge 3100 + vat for a hand painted stripe???

Dudes.. I don't understand... :-)

I would say decal.

To charge that much a painted stripe would be insane & not worth extra labor costs for the factory.

Guys - the option cost 3100GBP + tax in the UK... You can do the maths...but just in case you can't that's nearly $5000!!!!

Why so much - I believe it is hand-painted... (they have to justify the cost somehow...)...

i recall a prior thread that said it was an applied decal - you might search the archives. all the more insane the price if it's just a decal.
