An Alfa Romeo 3ltr v6 makes a really good engine for one of these replicas. Easily capable of 300 hp and the sound is fantastic ... right up there with (er, close to) the Ferrari v6.
Plus ofcourse in the 164 they also sit sideways, etc.

This is the Stradle version of the first purpose built Rallye car AND the most sucsessful.

btw, I'm building a dead nuts replica of the GP4 version of this car, except I'm putting in a supercharged 308QV. (work in progress w/ Mark Eberhardt)
