Has anyone noticed that Speedvision is changing it's name but has very little programming change for next year?

Just a reminder ---

Victory by Design (1 hr) on Speedvision twice tonight (per their website schedule)

8:00 PM and 12:00 midnight Eastern Time -- adjust accordingly!

As a quasi-public service, maybe one of you active FerrariList subscribers should send out a note too...

Well said Herbert. Fact is that F1 is boring if you're not a Ferrari type of person (ie own a car, love the cars, or into techno guru). Ferrari type of person means McLaren, BMW, Benz, they're all that type. But the average guy wants to see his Chevy kick Fords ass, or vice versa, not some cars and people that he can't even pronounce. I still love F1 though, but we gotta understand we're the minority over on this side of the pond. I think in time though US people will become somewhat more interested in it, never like they are in NASCAR though.

The problem is that the majority and the money rules. Look at the grandstands at a Cart, IRL, or any league other than Nascar and see how many people it attracts. Even the F-1 race at Indy was not a sellout and they do not use all the grandstands that Nascar and the Indy 500 uses. Just because you or someone else does not like Nascar, fact is, a hell of a lot of people do and they spend the big bucks to attend and watch and their loyalty is beyond question. Try to put on a stand alone Ferrari challenge race and see how many would show up. The Challenge race at Indy this year was BORING except maybe for the drivers. I learned a long time ago that just because I don't like something, that does not mean everyone else should too. I hate Golf but many love it. I hate Basketball, and Hockey and Pro Football but I don't throw off on those who do like it. People are different and we should accept it and let the majority and the ratings rule, OR you can pay the networks enough to compensate for their losses and I am sure they will show anything you want them to show. Money talks!!!

I've just signed the petition. This is a must do for all motorsports fans. Nascar is just one of many arenas for this great hobby/passion,etc.. I would like to see more F1 related shows

There is a petition out there that was passed on to me from a SCCA friend. You can electronically sign the petition and add a comment. It's also fun to go through the petition and read other peoples comments.

Unfortunatly it is not what you and I want to see but what the masses want to see. Just like William says, It's like wrestling. There is no substitution for class is there guys?

This can't be. Is it not enough that NASCAR is on FOX, TNN, & ESPN 2. I am so sick that stupid hillbilly sport. I want to see the Ferrari Challange races broadcasted, I'm sure everyone will agree with me, but will not happen. To me, NASCAR is the equivalent of wrestling. I just don't like it. There is more to racing than NASCAR & demand that FOX not mess up Speedvison. Who knows, there may be no more American Le Mans series or Legends of Motorsports. Think about it.

Fox finished buying them out...they had been supply cash to them in the past so hopefully, it will continue. However, Fox now has Nascar rights...expect to see less of Legends and more of Nascar This Week

What were the comments about Speedvision changing as a network that were stated at the end of Suzuka. I know as in every year they have to fight for the rights to broadcast F1, but how is Speedvision changing. I love that network.
