I saw alot of cool plates on cars, i just forgot what they were. its not a license plate, but I remeber at englishtown, some guy had a plate frame on his 70 olds cutlass (or maybe a buick GSX), but either way it had a 455 with 510 ft/lbs of torque (that ran a 10.6), that said "suckin gas and haulin ass." Thats the plate frame going on my muscle car. If i get a grand national im going with TURBOT1M, i checkes at the NY DMV site and its still available |

Thanks, Niles - it was the "O" in four, that got me confused. Also the "E", which when pronounced in Danish has no similarity with an "I". An "I" in Danish is pronounced close to the way the English speaking pronounce an "E". Just like in "Italy". Interesting conversation, this one. |

Its a phonics play on the name Ferrari. 4RE should be pronounced like -- "four ra i". See it sounds close to the name when you see and pronounce it this way. |

There is a fellow in FCA with a gorgeous black 348 SS with a plate that says "NZO RCKS" I just love that. Had a Boxer last year at my mountain drive with a plate that said "BAD 4RE" Very cool. I like "ITSA4RE" or "Nero 4RE" (cause my car is Nero Metallico). |

Coolest plate I've seen: I believe it was a Porche 993, "NO WATER". Quite funny since the 996's are water cooled rather than the air cooled 993 and prior models. A friend of mine has always had her plates (except in Texas because we're limited to 6 characters) read: MY BRQQM (she got out of many tickets because the Q's were written out as O's) |

I just got notified that my personal plate was approved. It's not "witty" but I'll have fun seeing how many of my uninitiated friends can figure it out. It will be 4RE 328 . BTW, thanks Rob and BobD for not beating me to it! I have a brother in San Francisco with a Ducati that has plates 2WHL 4RE. |

There's a Maserati around here that has a plate that reads "DOES185". You know that old Joe Walsh tune. "My Maserati does 185, I lost my license, now I don't drive..." The plate frame around it says, "I support various law enforcement agencies." We have a lot of clever plates around here but that one cracks me up. |
