Ben- Intrest buddy! What happened? (I followed Ben down to the Concorso at 'elevated' speeds in his TR in the early morning twilight. Awesome expierence. Norm joined us in his 360, both cars sounded simply incredible, yet very different, in the mysterious veil of the fog!) Best! Ben. |

DES, Congrats buddy! My first Ferrari was a black 88 Testarossa. It's still my favorite road Ferrari and I have driven everything from Daytona coupes to 360's. The first day of ownership with my TR I drove nearly 200 miles. The first few months I would run into the garage just to stare at the cars beautiful lines. I guess it's because it was the car of the 80's when I was in high school. The press said it was downright ugly, the car magazines made fun of the cheese graters but I thought and still do that it was the most awesome Ferrari from a styling standpoint (with the exclusion of some of the older race Ferraris). And that engine was also amazing. 12 cylinders inches from your ear drums. Never needed a stereo. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23

Jordan, i like to give you a little taste; i only do it for you... Gotta @#$% with somebody, you know...? Bird, you never called me when you got back, i left a message on your cell late last night - nothing. No call back, no nothing... i was worried... So worried that i couldn't even focus to redline in the TR... Glad to see that you're okay and made it back safely... Jim, it was unbelievable... i'm blown away at how powerful a car can be... Details on Monday, folks, my glass of wine just got here and the other folks should be here soon... |

Does it count that I drove a 348ts home from Concorso (~100 miles) yesterday? in a story that rivals that of some thing which could only have beeen created by our MasterWriter DES. Those who know me know I don't own this car, and no the owner of the 348ts did NOT drive my car hope (no car swapping here). More details and driving impressions, if there is interest. -Ben |
