Norm and Ben- Thanks for letting me sneak behind your cars and hear your exhausts wail in the early pre-dawn hours! Norm- your car sounds like a friggin F1 baby! You have *the* best 360 exhaust I have EVER HEARD! PS: I think we hit 110 a few times... Never even saw Brad's Masser, but what a great laugh it was when he told it <caught> !

Ben's TR also sounds friggin georgeous. The Ferrari Flat-12 may be one of the best sounding engines of all time, and yours is a fine example at speed! Thanks Ben!

Faisal- yeah, weird stuff! I started out second from last from JIB, had a viper I think behind me. Two Panteras and a 308 were taking it pretty easy, so I hoped over and guned it... and didn't see ANY other cars for the entire drive on 17! Was starting to wonder if I was going the right direction when on 1 south, so I started taking it easier and eventually LOXs' sweet red Esprit cought up with me, then you were there a moment later on the side of the road.

I still don't have any other idea what happened to others in the caravan (since I figure you and LOX had to be near the fastest :-) Guess the Red Triangle has been to Bermuda and back as of late in the Bay Area?

PS: "burnouts" you're too kind to mention I was on gravel, which is about the only surface my poor old car was capable of sliping the rear tyres for any signifigant time. (still fun though!) Glad you enjoyed it and I got going quick enough so you didn't have to *totally* jam on the brakes :P

Yeah, that was a fun drive! I love being surrounded by exotic cars on the highway. I can't believe how slowly my friend Lox drove. Usually we start at the back and try to work our way to the front by the end of the drive! Yesterday, his Esprit V8 was nowhere to be seen until I stopped and waited for a couple of minutes. Ben Cannon pulled up and waited with me, and did some lurid powerslides for entertainment. And when we got there, was it just me or was everyone spinning out on the wet grass? Fun, fun, fun!

For desensitizing me to speed by leading me on a 40 minute 100mph run to Los Gatos. I think that training allowed our little pack to catch up to you on 17 after your 5 minute headstart from JIB. It was a great run. Neat how we zinged by Brad's maserati! Your TR sounds great from behind, man. The Italiano Concorso was awesome except for the freakin idiot in charge of Ferrari exhibitor parking. Locking everybody in a alternating parking lot formation was STUPID. Parking was MUCH better in the past.
