David - I don't think the dishwashing does that. But the plastic polish will help.

Jean-Louis - Me too! Sunny never called me to help him out, didn't his mom teach him to "share"? I would have put off the dishwashing till Sunday.

Although the picture is very funny, I prefer Sunny's Saturday night.

Hey Stuart,

Does that really help remove the smokey tint that lenses on older cars get?

Sat night... fine dinners, fine wine, and two gorgeous women, both 23, one a So Cal blonde and the other a dark haired Australian beauty. Thats my Sat and followed by a drive day, no less. Pics to follow in a couple days (and of the drive too). :-)

Yoshi,
I have tons of parts in boxes because if there is something scratched or broken on my car, I am immediately compelled to replace it....and I am religous about having the proper maintanence done on time (if not before) and I keep all the old parts after the services...

Yes, I will use plastic polish to clean the outside of the lens. Anal Dave says the inside needs to be clean also so the idea of the dishwasher is to squirt water (with detergent) inside the chambers to clean the inside. Sort of like douching. And we LOVE douches, don't we ;-)

Stewart, I knew there's the reason you are doing what you did. Thanks for info.

Have you used plastic polish for eye glasses? They work pretty good. There's good plastic polisher named "Novus". I used this to polish my lights, computer body, monitor frames, etc few times a year, and they do work wonder.

Yoshi - there is no working electrical elements in these lens. In fact, there is no working electrical element in the damn car ;-)

And if the dryer melts the plastic, then I will have 4 pieces of "Ferrari arts" for eBay. People will buy anything, right Dave??

Are these what I think they are? Doesn't this cause any electrical malfunction? Do you use dryer function, too?

David, I know a shop who sells their used parts, too. Better than throw them away, but to begin with, I wonder why you accumulated so many parts. hehehe

All my "anal" ideas originate from Anal Dave, of course ;-)

And this is not a "waste" of Saturday night. Wining and dining some bimbo and not getting laid - now THAT'S a waste (you can tell I speak from experience).

Ask him where he got the idea....I'm wasting my Saturday night listing a ton of Ferrari parts and crap I had lying around in boxes in my garage, figure I can turn it into cash...we'll see.

I even listed some used 308 t-belts! :-)

Stewart,

Make sure the water temperature is set low enough so it won't melt the plastic. :-)
