Martin,
I have been looking to buy an AM V8 or Vantage and have been researching them for about 5 months. I almost looked at this car a week ago in Virginia, but I couldn't make the trip at the last minute. I'm sure it's the same car because with only 10 or so Vantages in the US, how many do you think are Aztec gold. The current owner is looking to sell it in the spring. If you want to bring back memories, I can get you the contact info.

There were 3 DB5's all with ejection seats, mach guns, oil slick apparatus etc made for Goldfinger. In a later pic with Dalton Another aston was used not sure if it was a V8 vantage or a Lagonda .It is true that when people think of THE james bond car it is the DB5 from Goldfinger.
Kenny sold this car in 88 to emilio estavez.Have the 360,01 M3 and jetta v6 for the little woman
Sorry I sold it.

I thought that this special DB5 was THE James Bond's Aston Martin.
Do you remember how special it was?
I was a teen when James Bond had big
sucess, perhaps that is the reason why James Bond is only Sean Connery to me.
Never heard of another James Bond being known for driving an Aston Martin other than this model.
Sorry for my poor knowledge.

Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton was 1 of my all time fave 007 movies, I thought he made a great Bond. Word is the new AM Vanquish will be Pierce Brosnan's ride in the upcoming 007 flic.

Ok, u always see a list of best Bond films, how about Worst ?

Golden Eye, totally PC, feminist 007 flic, JB never even gets laid in this flop

MoonRaker, just silly

A View to a Kill, JB in a Citroen 2CV ? I dont think so

James Bond drove several Astons. He drove a later year of this model in particular in The Living Daylights, which had Timothy Dolton as bond.
The original Connery driven DB5 which you're talking about is from Goldfinger.

Martin, I almost bought one of those but I couldn't get past that look of the old Mustang Maverick similarity. As they say to each his own but it looked so insignificant to me. Just how I saw it.

Martin,

This has to be one of my favorite Aston Martins behind the DB4-Zagato... This car has style and class! How many cars do you own?
