Hi Ben,
When you have some time, I would like to see your list of Ferrari resources.

James,

There are a good number of shops that will work on them local to the SF Bay Area, I think the last count was above 20. Recommendations are essential, otherwise all you have is a Ferrari Resouce Guide (FLY Yellow Pages anyone?). Now that my Tech has left for greener pastures in Atlanta, I am unable to refer you to anyone I've had a direct service relationship. On the plus side, it's been a year (and 3-4k miles) since my major service, and not a single problem to report.

If there is interest I will locate and post up my (compiled long ago) list of Bay Area Ferrari Resources (mostly sales/service/body places).

-Ben

James --Bret at Skelton Ferrari is a true mechanic not a parts replacer. He knows what he is doing and has been doing it for many years. It will well worth the drive to have him work on your car. Call him and talk to him.

Ben, Im looking for a mechanical shop but could also use the name of a real good body shop. Thanks David, I think I may give Bret a call but would rather find a shop in the San Mateo or San Francisco area.

I had Bret Skelton do some electrical work for me. He's in Berkeley, 741 Gilman (510) 526-6808. When I was in his shop, he had a Testarossa, two 308's and a 348 in there. I'd say he excels at electrical, air conditioning, smog devices. He had the 12 torn down and was swapping out the 348's engine, so he does the heavy work as well.

Body or Mechanical? I assume it's for a Ferrari...
