I have two small children (ages five and one). I also have a 355F1. I am only too happy to run out at all hours for diapers, milk whatever the little ones need! Anyone need anything registered at DMV? One time I was at 7-11 and stopped to read the Ferrari mags. The clerk yelled to me across the store, hey buddy, your wife called, she said stop reading the Ferrari mags and bring those diapers home! Ouch, reality hits hard! |

The Ferrari owner is the guy in the store that's smiling the most. |

"How do you spot the Ferrari owner? No matter where I park my 360, nobody would have pegged me as the owner. Not in a million years." Some thing told me that the owner would be wearing khaki shorts and leather sandals. The owner was wearing a tucked in "polo/golf shirt" khaki shorts, and leather sandals. Ive spotted owners of certain cars before, and Ive hit it right on the nail. Certain ppl usually have a certain style. |

You can sometimes spot the Ferrari owner if we are wearing a Ferrari shirt at the time. I agree, hearing the very VERY approving comments is a lot of fun. You hear them the most if you drive it in a parade. I always am asked to carry the Queen or some other beauty. The car gets about as many comments as she does... For me, it is fun from both perspectives!! |

Sometimes I take mine out just to hear what people will say and see how they react. I always here "wow, a ferrari, and its red too," as well as "thanks, you just made my day." Hearing that makes my day too. |

Just last week I drove the Ferrari to work, and then took it to lunch, at Taco Bell! It was funny seeing the reactions. |

A while back, the first Ferrari I saw in person was at a Burger King. I was going to go to the mall with my sister and coming around a corner I saw it. I swurved across three lines entering the BK at about 40mph. I was ecstatic, and I couldnt believe a 355 was at Burger King!! I went inside and scanned for the would be owner, I saw him and I asked him if it was his car, and if I could take a picture of it. He said, "sure". That car was absoloutly marvelous! Red 355, tan leather, 6spd, and drilled slotted rotors, and I couldnt believe it was a BK! What a cool owner! |

A few times I've gone through Burger King or Wendy's in my 328. Blows their little minds!! (only to take home, NOT to eat in the car...) |

Ya Doc, next time park it in front of a "Value Village" store, that would be a good one! ;) |

Yeah, but it's a little off topic, isn't it, Dr. Shelbee? It would have been even more impressive if you had parked the 360 at a QFC or Wendy's. |

Amir, The hotel manager let me park in front of the hotel/health club. Therefore I always drive mine everytime I go there to work out. That car is gone now though |

My wife and I are expecting our first child next March and I am very nervous about becoming a father, but this will also give me a good reason to run quick errands in the Ferrari (ie diaper runs). So far the wife has not had me run out in the middle of the night for icecream or anything yet but those months are probably coming. Dom that is a classic pic. I hope to be able to do the same at my neighborhood Target. Riv |

Jordan- that photo was actually from the previous day (I think we went around 4:00 PM). JimE- Damn, I'm busted. I should've taken the photo from the other side so we could see the target logo. Jon- My boy is 2 weeks old. Also have a 2 (almost 3) year old girl. She's finally out of diapers, but I guess we'll still be buying them for a while for the boy. The only downside of the target run is that it is too close to my house. Doesn't really give the car a chance to warm up. We wound up driving around for 30 minutes after stopping at the target. Dom |

Dom, How old is yours? My son was born on June 2nd and just last week started sleeping about 6 straight hours. Yeah...I know how frightening it can be when you suddenly realize you're out of diapers. No better car to get you to the Diaper store than a Ferrari. I can see it now......"honey were out of diapers and he's about to do a big one, hurry". "ok hun let me check the tire pressures....ready to go in the Challenge car be back in a flash". Seriously though, I owned a TR for about 1 year. Bought it with 6800 miles and put nearly 9,000 miles on it. Drove it everywhere. By the way your profile page is awesome. Regards, Jon P. Kofod Sleepless in DC

Dom, I was at that same target earlier today as well. What time were you there? I was there around 5pm. What a coincidence it would have been to have parked next to your car |

Sort of like the home depot threads awhile back, but with a different twist. Had to run out to target to get diapers- took the GT4. Here's a photo of my brother and I with the newly purchased diapers.
Baby is keeping me busy/awake. Dom |
