No muffler Tom, just a straight shot from the engine to the tail pipe.

I knew that F50 had more than a Tubi to sound like that. Did the car have it's muffler on and just straight pipes replacing the cats ?

MONK - There is a pic of the Knightrider TR, it is the 10th one up from the bottom. In Preston Davis' sequencce of photos. And it was next to mine. If I ever do anything like that to my TR, you guys have permission to shoot me with a .44.
Bruce - My winning the PLATINUM was only because I was the only one there to acccept... And Frank P certainly had some involvement.
Ken - As per our deal on winning at the show, I have destroyed the pictures and negatives of you and that little Guatemalan boy in bed... Your safe for now!!
PEACE OUT FELLAS!!!!

My buddy had a great idea which I'm surprised no thought of yet. At a pre-determined time, everyone should start their engines. Can you even imagine the sound! Pavarotti couldn't even compare!

It was great seeing everyone, and meeting new people. My judging partner, Mike Bayer, was terrific to work with. He has a beautiful 330.

Chris, your black 348 is beyond description. I thought I was anal retentive! Keep it up. We had six platinums at our table, including best of show (275 GTB), and yours truly.

Great turnout, great weather, great day.

A raped ape- ha! Todd, a little later after you left the silver F-50 started up and left- now you should have heard that.. At idle (yes idle!) it was loud enough for the whole place to hear it. And of course we heard it driving for 1/4 mile down the road once it left- wow!!

Davem, look under the Preston Davis set of photos. I think this is the TR you are referring to. It had chrome rims and the license plate said "Mr. Glass" on it. I kept going back to that one too. Mean!

My only regret from the day is I didn't get a chance to talk to Preston Davis more- he has an amazing collection! I breifly met him, but we were all eating like hungry dogs at the time & my mouth was stuffed with food :-)! Hemi..TR...Viper- wow- I love it!

djmonk- I didn't get a picture of the bling bling TR, but here's some bling bling in good taste!

Ryan, I am selling to get a 360 (I have not called on the car you told me about).

Andrew, thanks for the kind words about my car (If you buy it, you will be having so much fun, you won't need to have money in the bank!)

What a great day!!! Had the pleasure of meeting more F-Chatters than ever before. Hutch and I arrived early at Gieger's Gin Mill. Beautiful home and super hosts. Petula(sp.) and Todd were too nice and had a super spread all ready.
Then joining us was BRUCE and son, Augustine, Jeremiah, Rob Ferretti,Andrew+Melissa,Scott, Todds friends Ken and Kenny. Of course meeting the legendary Superman of F-chat DES put me over the edge!!
Us Mondial owners were well represented with Tom and Peter.
Also Barry, Ken and Dr. Ken Lee great to see you at the show.
Wish i had more time to talk with everyone but the judging at least in my class seemingly went on forever. The judges coming back time an time again to look one last time.....

Dr. Ken,
Thanks for that picture of my Mondial. I was so busy taking pictures of all the great cars I forgot to take one of my own.
It was terrific meeting all the Chatters and putting faces to the names. Bruce, Hutch, Dr. Lee, Rob, DES, Todd, Jeremiah, and ..... Sh*t, I know i'm leaving some out. Anyway, thanks for making me feel welcome. I feel like I have a Ferrari family now . :-)

Bruce:

No payment or bride was made (many offers were made). Hutch's car was very clean and had enough points (95) for a platinum. Hutch received a platinum the hard way - he earned it. Congrats Hutch.

Hi Andrew, I certainly do remember you and your lovely wife! As for the darn bugs, I was chasing them off my car the entire day! LOL! Where do you guys live? I'm psyched I found this forum, I love chatting Ferrari. In case anyone is interested I have an AMAZING detail guy here in Westfield (Union County). It's called G-Wiz auto detailing.
Before the show I had my man G (the owner) and his team spend four hours literally with toothbrushes shining my baby up! G happens to be black and is the funniest guy on earth. As I'm pulling out of his shop he is yelling "now your sh!ts tight, Ben...you're NEW MONEY !! Glad to hear it looked good!

Awesome day! I was there too. I came on this forum hoping some attendees were discussing the event and hit the motherlode. My car even made it into some of your piks! 1998 355 F1 Spider, yellow with black interior. My plates say "FOR ARI" (which is my daughter's name).
I usually hang out on scuderia.net but this seems
like a very cool forum.

It was definitely a great day & great to meet many fellow F-chat'ers. I've got 50 pictures on my camera, so I'll spare you all the misery (ah..I mean temptation!) of posting too many.

Scott, I don't know that we're ready for a Ferrari yet, but if anyone out there is looking for the nicest 355 berlinetta, Scott DeGhetto has it & for sale! I can't go for a drive in it for fear of cashing out all my savings and selling my cars to buy it!

The day was great, and everyone was so friendly! Well, except the dude directing everyone onto the field in the morning, who was very rude to my wife and I because I accidently pulled forward too much to let someone by. Someone was trying to get out on the driveway that allows enterence to the compound while we were all going in. This guy was pissed because I wasn't in a Ferrari and was passed the line where lowly non-ferrari's were allowed (which was way back there). I won't mention his name here, but most of you can figure out who he is- that is the only snob I met all day!
