Darryl;
That sounds about right although I wouldn't bet my life on the 4-5. My costs varied a bit because of being a guinea pig.
Hey, if you plan on going the Fikse route, you may be able to shave some lost driving time by coordinating the shipment of your splined hub adapters if you a planning on reusing. Let me know and I'll explain what I did.
ALso, for your info, when I upgraded my widths to 9 and 11, I had some tire abrasion on the left front chaffing the AC wheel well louver. I will have some winter work modifying this but it should be relatively easy. Although everything else went fine, fact is this minor glitch did happen but was well worth it.

Good luck

F.Y.I.
I spoke with Paul at Radial Tire and he quoted me $5,800 for rims and $1,000 for tires. Also, 4 to 5 weeks for delivery.

Cheers Brad, personally I think it is a tremendous improvement and shouldnt be too hard for me to get done for my grill.

Happy motoring!

Thanks for the comments guys. Regarding the color scheme Gordo, I think the bottom line is you could get it anyway you want although I can't vouch for "official factory spec". Most TR's I've seen do run a black motif at the skirt, air dam and sideboards, some with the grille as well . This is a little different and I kinda like it myself. Darryl, I picked up the package from Radial Tire in Wash. D.C. I dealt with Paul Moorcones. He was very knowledgeable and wasn't afraid to tackle the non ordinary. He races in a GT class himself so working with him really helped. Give him a call for some numbers if your interested. (301) 585-2741 His tire prices were pretty much the best around and since I was deviating from factory, it really made sense to keep it all together.
Hey Erik, I'm in Lancaster. Where're you in SE? I originally came from Springfield Delco.

The rims look nice!
Where did you get them purchase from and what was the price?
Also, the rear grills and lower front and side valance look nice red.
Nice improvements done tastefully.

You can get forged magnesium wheels from the SAC but now they go under the name Champion Wheels ( as in champion motorsports)

Brad,

The car looks absolutely stunning. I am a 348 owner and wondered, (and excuse the ignorance) were the fins convering the rear lights always red on the TR, I didnt think they were...?

They are black on the 348 but looking at your TR makes me think that Ferrari should have done the same on the 348 and I just might.

Incredible looking machine!

Well, they finally arrived! Just posting a few quick picks (could be better, maybe later) of the new wheels. These are a first run 18" FM-5 style 3 piece unit with centerlock hub and diamond machine finish. All the rim bolting is done from the rear. The're shod with Pirelli Pzeros asymetrico's 255x40's and directionals 295x35 front and rear. There is now another option other than the Kinesis and HRE for those who may be looking. The test runs have been very rewarding with excellent control so far. Need to put it through its paces a bit. Will provide more info for anyone interested. Upload
