I waited for a year and knowing and hearing what happened since the install, I would have done it sooner!

I would drive in one first. Mine is borderline. I could take it or leave it. It does have its moments good and bad. I think that with the stock exhaust it is loud enough when you put your foot in it.

I already have a Tubi, but you may as well look into the Capristo. I think the cost is less also.

Do what I do. Just use the Tubi silencer. It is so much lighter than the OEM, but use the OEM tail pipe. The Tubi tail pipes sound too "bassist" while the original pipes have a butterfly valve that opens at 4,000rpm to gloriuos screams.

I did the Tubi, and it sounds much better, but there are really no performance enhancements to be gained. Still, the sound is part of the experience.

I still maintain that the best Ferrari sound I have heard is from my 1974 Dino with the Ansa exhaust. Now that sounds like a Ferrari!! (I know, it's not a REAL Ferrari. I don't care)

Joe: manu gurantees that you'll like your new tubi so much, that he'll take it back if oyu don't; win / win scenario in my eyes ( up until your wallets lighter by a couple thousand quid).

Put a Tubi on my 360 Spider after 5K with the stock system and never looked back. Sound is glorious.

Tubi can be loud on a Spider. I suggest you ask your dealer to put you in touch with a customer who has a Spider with Tubi on it. Go for a ride and then decide.

Go with the Capristo.

Email heiko or I for a sound byte. I don't know how to upload it, otherwise I would post it.

After drivign both, all I can say is: DO IT! It makes all the difference in the world as far as the character of the sound.

Joe,

Not too loud at all. You can comfortably have a conversation without noise interference of the Tubi. Tubi sounds awesome!!

Just as it should be.

On the Modena , they certainly arent too loud , you can have a conversation in the car with no problem at all , can listen to your favorite music, etc...

I guess you they will sound louder on a spider but not to the point that they will become a pain on a daily basis.
