"Mad Turk" would be my guess, a common term of bravado laced endearment for the boys from the Bosphorus.

The other day I saw a red 355 on hwy.400 I can swear he was doing maybe 180mph. as he approached the traffic I tryed to keep up with my GSXR but this guy is a maniac and beleive me I drive fast. In traffic he was going from first to last lane, emergency and all just left and right. I haven't seen anything like that in my life. Not even in the movies. I think the license plate said MADTRK. I guess it stand for madtrick, which it was. Does anyone know this crazy driver. I wanna shake his hand for being able to lose me on my GSXR.I have the GSXR 750. At first I took off he was right behind me. I went up to 185mhp. He was right behind me still. Then we got into some real heavy traffic. I was still doing about 120-130mph. Then things got crazy. I could not beleive what I saw man. This guy is a freak. You should have seen him go dude. He was going in beetween cars left and right.... I had to let him go. I know when to exept degeat I guess. My first time of loosing on the highway. At least it wasn't a corvette or something.

Another thing I'd worry about is warrantee. P cars have a world wide warrantee but I don't think F cars do. The Enzo has a recall to fix engine cooling fans. If they shut down engine can be damaged quickly. $ is huge with that car and if I bought one I want a warrantee. It's weird how many are for sale.

Yes they can be converted and yes, you may be able to bring them in under that new law.

The conversion is expensive but every car can be converted. I saw F40s being converted before they were imported to the US in 1990.

The financial feasability may be a different issue.

I was simply curious if they could be legally converted for US use.

The 959 can be brought in under a relatively new law thats states that cars with historical significance can be brought over and driven under 2k miles a year (a show license)- it works with the XJ220 and a few other supercars.

It was just in Autoweek, yes they can be done and I think it said there was a change in the law, not because of the cars age. It said in the article that the company thats doing it is looking all over the world for clean low mile 959s. It also said Bill Gates has one and I think Ralph Lauren.

I thought 959's could be "converted" now because of their age. At 25+ years or something they don't have to meet some of the requirements. Or has my crack not worn off yet?
