Thanks guys you are the best. It was the dimmer switch. My dad must have hit it somehow to turn them off, but as soon as I moved it right back on. Thanks again everyone.

Yes, as Mitch suggests, there is little twisty dimmer knob/peg to dim the instrumentation lighting. Try that, hopefully it works and its nothing too difficult.

Have you tried the dial in the front of the tach? You may have the lights turned down too low to see.

I think I should also mention that the gauge warning lights come on, but not the white lights behing the speedo, tac, ect. But the red ones come on.

This sounds like it could be a bad ground,or a loose conntact behined the gauge pod.

On my dad's 355 spider the gauge lights don't come on. Checked fuse and must be fine being that the license plate lights are on the same fuse. All the interior lights come on except for the gauge lights. console lights are on, but the clock and fuel gauges are off. Any suggestions on cause. It is a 96 355 spider.
