In case you're trying some on-line searches, it's usually spelled "bung". |

Phillip: A bunge is a female threaded thick walled tube, that the O2 sensor screws into, just like into the cat. I buy these at the local exhaust shop. It is about an inch long. |

If you are talking about the 348, there are 2 sensors on each CAT. The O2 Sensor is closer to the cabin and the thermocoupler is towards the rear of the car. I zip tied the thermocouplers to the frame (not needed now). The test pipes I bought from a board member had the O2 sensor screw holes pre-drilled. All is good dave indianapolis |

Phillip: I have made my own straight pipes for my TR. I drilled a hole and welded a bunge for the O2 sensor......works great!!!!! BTW: I am making 2 more sets for the TR, if anyone is interested. |

The O2 Sensor is on the Cat's right? If you take off the cats and put in test pipes...straight pipes....where does the O2 Sensor go? It doesn't plug into the straight pipes does it? Sorry, haven't actually seen straight pipes in person.....this may be a silly question |
