I'll have one of those GTO emblems for only $6.72.
O, you need a chassis number for that? Let me do some googling+photoshopping...

Steven, would you give more details on how you "refinished" your 308 emblem? For example, did you spray the black and then hand brush in the white, or...?

I need to do mine (and especially my quattrovalvole emblem)

Jeff,

Love you Ferrari UK folks and all, but.... #60044104 $71.20 !!! Took off my old 308 emblem, bought a can of flat white and flat black Rustoleum from Home Depot and repainted it by hand ($6 or so total cost).

If i may kindly ask my friend, why is the 308 emblem priced so high??? Seems a bit, well... Many thanks my friend and your service is da best!!!

Enjoy the Drive,

Hi all.

Here's some more pictures to tempt you ! In no particular order !

These are not all of them, just those which I could lay my hands on reasonably quickly.

Regards.

Bert ...you are absolutely right about he italicized i....DUH !!!!!!!
I have no idea where a silver 308 sign would come from..perhaps only for black cars???
I have never seen one of those before but I would love to find a black one just like it with the "thinner" letter style.

The italized i is after GTS on my '80, not after 308.

You might also want to check what kind of material the "dlr" supplied emblem is made of.
True NOS originals from 77-79 are brass and the "new" ones are aluminium. There is an obvious
difference when held in your hand. Hope this info helps.

This is the "correct" style for 77-79 308s.
The white is smaller than on later cars.
It is similar to yours except the outer portion of the lettering is black. If you wish, I have an NOS black letter original still in bag, never mounted,BUT it is the thicker white letter style.
I think they can be bought from ferrari UK for about $75.Upload

The emblem in the original post is the same as on my 1980 GTSi.

Hi Paul,

My 77 GTB has a black '308' script and silver 'GTB' script. It is possible that the one you bought is for a different year car or maybe a Euro car. Remember that we are talking about Ferrari here. Chances are the cars were built with whatever was on the shelf at the time. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. I notice even the 308 emblem on the QV is different than my original one. The groove in the numbers looks larger.

Newman

I think it is probably original just maybe not the right one for your car. Keith Bluemels book shows a 208 badge in the same design as yours, also shown are GTS, GTB and GTSi badges in the same design

That emblem is probably used/old and NOT new. Hope you did not pay much for it (perhaps $40 max). It should be BLACK on the outside with white on the inner recessed section. Below is how it SHOULD look like.

I purchased a '308' emblem from the dealer but it is silver rather than black like my original one. Has anyone seen one like this on a 308?Upload
