Thanks for your reply Jeff. Even though you have no dealings with Challenge, do you know anyone who does have some insider knowledge that I could speak to? I want to get a variety of opinions before leaping in!

Andrew - I know Maranello IS Ferrari UK - was just 'underplaying' them a bit by calling them my "local dealer" ;-)

Will let you know how I get on if anyone's interested...

Hi all.

Contrary to popular belief, Jeff was on holiday !!

Ben, thanks for the post but I have absolutely nothing to do with Challenge, not even 360s. All I get involved with is the older cars.

As you are visiting us or Maranello Sales today then I think whoever you are seeing will be able to help you out.

If you don't get any luck let me know, but they're a talented lot down at Maranello Sales !

Thank you Bart & Andrew. I'm due to meet with my local dealer this week (Maranello in Egham), but was hoping to hear a few more views - not that I distrust the dealer, of course! So, if anyone's got any views about racing a 360 Challenge - I'd love to hear them.

Ben, I think that Jeff is a bit busy with the fire that destroyed Ferrari UK. (well, not really destroyed, but messed up everything).

If you'll search the archives about the fire, you'll have some more info.
Further then that, I'm sure anyone with more information will contact you (or to this tread).

Bart

PS. Welcome to the board :-)

edit, here's the tread : http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/315115.html

I'm new here, and have been recommended to come here by a ferrarichat long-timer.

A friend and I are currently looking at racing a 360 Challenge next season, and would like to talk to anyone who has links to any current 360 Challenge teams either in Europe or in the US.

Jeff from Ferrari UK was recommended as a good guy to talk to, so if you read this Jeff - please get back to me.

I appreciate that I'm a new, but my post is serious - my main driver has over 20 years experience, and has professionally raced BTCC and GTs with Marcos in the past. Any help would be very gratefully received - either here, or to my email.

Many thanks,
Ben.
