Matt, Just got some new slicks mounted and am ready to go. Looks like it might be a bit cold but otherwise weather should be great both days. See you at the track! Regards, Jon |

Paul, Thanks for the great pictures. Yeah it would be nice to post video clips. Next event stop by and say hello. I was going to stop by and look at your car on Sunday but you were only there on Saturday. Sounds like your car has quite a racing history. My car is a racing "virgin" having started out life as a stock 1995 F355 TB. It has never been raced. I bought the last remaining Challenge kit from FNA (it took nine months to haggle them down on the price). I had wanted to do one or two Challenge races this year but FNA changed the requirements and wanted the full 8 race fee regardless of how many races you want to do. That ended any chance of racing the car. Thanks again for the pictures, see you at the next Ferrari/FOW event. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 C #23 |

Jon, it is fun that you are virtually local, in this big internet world. I wish I had known who you were. I would have enjoyed meeting you and seeing your car. I think you car is beautiful ! Yes, I believe we were threatening the decibel limits of the track. My car was raced in the Challenge series by the previous (original) owner in South America in 1998 and in North America in 1999 and 2000. I bought it 8 months ago. This car is HOT & FAST, like yours. It has won a number of Challenge races. Here are some photos of your car from Summit Point. We need to get Rob to set up a place on this site simply for video. I have lots (in-car and outside).

Paul, I saw your car at the FCA event at Summit Point. My F355 Challenge was the dark red one with yellow bumpers and Speedlines. I meant to ask you what year your Challenge car is? Looked pretty nice. Did you used to own a 328 GTS? I think both of our cars were the loudest. I have no emmission's equipment on mine and the full Challenge exhaust. Was your car ever raced? Sure sounded nice. Regards, Jon P. Kofod |

Rob please do post that, how I do love online videos of Ferraris. Please. Yeah when I go to change my exhaust over to Borla soon I feel I'll be morally obligated to start my car up with only the headers on it. My neighbors wont even care, on one side the family is thick 100% Italian and on the other side the guy has dreamed of a Ferrari his whole life (I don't know why he just doesn't get one). |

My wife calls my 355 Challenge the 'dragon'. It has straight exhaust with, for some reason, a pair of cats. Rob, if you read this, did you ever post that mpeg I sent you of me at 120mph in my 355 at the track? The audio was great as I had an M3 for lunch. |

I love the way the Tubi brings the growl out of my 512TR's flat 12. Gonna get a wide open exhaust on the 512TR race car, Cant wait to hear that song |

I was in San Francisco yesterday when I was walking past the Union St. underground parking lot. Out popped a red 355 Spider. My heart sill pounds with excitement every time I see any Ferrari, it such a great rush. She pulled out of the lot, onto the street and I must admit I was very undrewellembed by the sound of the engine. I guess that I am so use to the deep rich throaty sound of the Tubi and K&N filters, I forgot what a "stock" Ferrari sounds like. If I closed my eyes I'm not sure if I would have recognized the car. Of course the was at low RPM's. Anyway, I'm wondering if any other Tubi owners or admirers feel the same way. Once you've gone Tubi, is there any going back? Tom |
