Ultimate is a good dealer. I may also hook you up with a couple of leads if you give me a bid better idea. My mechanic is a Lambo factory trained mechanic and has always customers that are selling. Send me an e-mail, I will be in touch Monday/Tuesday. Doody, trust me, even if you have to go through the civil process, you can jank their license. All you have to do is coplain to the DMV who is in oversight of the dealers. They get several complains and the license is janked. it is just not done automatically. This is why the "New Auto Toy Store is always right, they are always NEW

I have heard several people talk about Ultimate Motorworks in Longwood, FL, Lamborghini Orlando. They seem like a good dealership. I would call their service department excellent. Even though I ordered a new Murcielago from Lamborghini of Atlanta because of a good price, I will not hesitate to have service in Orlando. aehaas I may add that I would not hesitate to have service in Atlanta either, very good mechanic, dedicated. |

Troy - Run - Don't Walk from them. Do a search on this site and read the news article how they were raided by the Feds... If your dead set on them I'll go and check out the car for you.... I'm 15 minute away... |

There is a silver Sv in Hawaii that can be had for 118,000. Higher miles, 30,000, but a very good strong running car. I know you can find 98 Sv's for 125-135,000. |

Allan, I said I wanted to spend up to 150k. I know the 91-94 can be had for less than that. Most of the SV's I have come across are in the 165-180k range. |

Troy...Ultimate Motorworks in Longwood, FL (next to Orlando) had an electric blue w/ acorn interior mid-90's Diablo Roadster (that was previously owned by some baseball star) for $150k. I looked at it back in July while in the area, and spoke with the owner of the dealership (can't recall his name) about the car. It was in excellent condition visually. Don't know if they still have it in stock or not. Unfortunately, I don't know much about their reputation either other than the owner was very accommodating (gave us a full tour of the facility), the salesman was nice (but enjoyed poking fun at Ferraris), and the facility was very nice (but small). They also had a Murci, a couple of Urracos, a Silhouette, and a Jalpa in stock -- in addition to all the Bentleys. Their website is www.ultimatemotors.com They specialize in restorations (had a Murci, an LP400 CT, and a rare vintage Ferrari undergoing restoration / rebuild). Apparently, the owner is very active in the concours scene. |

Mr. Doody. Can you give me the # of the F dealer in MA ? I want to order the 360 the way you described it. ... and some thought Lamborghinis were flashy ! LOL Troy spend a lot of time with research on the cars. You have to learn all the pros and cons of all the models you are interested in. Don't grab the first car you see. |

the way the laws work in FL, they can take a deposit from you and if they fail to return the deposit to you it is NOT a criminal offense. their license to deal cars is apparently never in jeopardy. it is a civil offense and you have to go to court to get your money back. not all FL dealers are shysters, but one might assume that because of this insane laws, a lot of shyster car dealers locate in FL. most states have strict rules about deposits. here in MA, dealers have to keep separate, non-interest-bearing accounts that are highly regulated. one screwup and the state can pull your license. the dealers don't screw up. in fact, the laws are so consumer friendly in MA (perhaps too much so) that you could order a bright pink 360 with custom fluorescent green interior and paintings of bunny rabbits on the fenders and if you choose not to buy the car once it shows, they still technically have to give you your deposit back (that's excessive, but apparently i'ts the rule). before i knew better, i gave $10K to a FL dealer on a car that went into PPI and was substantially not as advertised. they gave me my deposit back, but i counted my blessings once i learned about the inane laws. personally, regardless of their reputation (well, excepting Martin or anyone else i know or feel i know personally and would trust), i would not give any FL independent exotics dealer a deposit of any sort and would tell them this is because of the unacceptable laws in their state. if they won't deal without a deposit, then no deal. maybe the authorized F dealers, since they to some extent have to answer to FNA at the end of the day. perhaps there's some escrow configuration, but it probably just isn't worth it. it's not like FL is the epicenter of cars by any stretch. doody. |

"buy cars wrecked, water damage etc, clean the titles, fix them up and sell them. They do a huge amount of Lambo business." I always see beat-up looking trashed Lambos in the back. Then you see shinny clean looking Lambos in the fancy showroom. They really do a great job polishing cars Sales guys I've talked to all have one line- "this car is perfect." |

Not only do they not deliver cars, but i have seen the cars they sell in their ORIGINAL state when they buy them. They are hooked up with every insurance company, buy cars wrecked, water damage etc, clean the titles, fix them up and sell them. They do a huge amount of Lambo business. |

Troy, do not buy anything from the New Auto Toystore. Tell me exactly what you want, and ill help you find it. Why are you set on 91-94 if you want to spend 150,000? |

Steer waaay clear of these guys Troy! I'm sure a dozen people will pop in with horror stories they've experienced or heard about them. If I recall, they take deposits on cars, then don't deliver. Good luck getting the deposit back... It changed management a while back and was involved in some fed raids if I'm not mistaken. -R |

Maybe the seller is looking to see if you are for real about buying the car.. Their way of separating the dreamers from the purchasers.. I don't think it uncommon with high end purchases. |

Don't take them off your list, just make sure the dealer isn't a flake, and have someone that you can trust look at the car. What model are you looking for? |

Can someone explain to me what the situation is with giving a deposit on a car located in the state of Florida. I was recently talking to a dealer in that state about a particular car. Should I take Florida cars off my wish list. (I am looking for a Lamborghini, There happens to be alot of them in Florida) |
