I use a silicon based cleaner (I think that it's Black to Black) and it works way better than Simple Green or any other non silicon based cleaner. It stays black for a long time and when it does fade, it doesn't turn whitish like some other cleaners (Armour All for example). |

Mike, I've been using Lexol's Vinylex by spraying it on a rag and then wiping down surfaces. Rub on, let it sit for a few minutes and rub off excess. I'm very pleased with the results.

Mike, Mother's Back to Black has been mentioned a few times, as well as Simple Green. There are some threads on cleaning a GTS top. Note: If you clean the GTS top with Back to Black, then wash it a few days later, some of the residue will run down the windows and body. It comes right off but I always use it last AFTER washing the car. It is like any other "dressing" product and is sort of greasy. It will also atract a little more dust, too. But it makes the top and the wing look much better.

What do you use to clean the black highlights on your cars? e.g. the black upper spoiler on the 308/328, black bumpers on US 308, GTS top on 308/328. |
