Tell your DC lawyer to look at California Civil Code section 3344. Might be profitable for both of you. Art |

LOL For the amount of money I paid a Washington DC lawyer - the trademark better be valid!!!! I'm not into the "spend a million to win a million" when they are not hurting the integrity of the name |

Nika: If your trademark is valid, they might owe you a lot of money, like all the profit from the sale of those Barbies. They might be willing to purchase the mark or license it for substantial sums. Art |

It's a very well done article and accurate, wonder when folks will wake up and advertisers (sponsors) will stop the double speak, if you get my drift. |

One thing I wanted to share with all of you is a recent piece I wrote and was published in today's National Post. It's about female motorsports sponsorship. I hope my FC friends like it: http://www.nationalpost.com/specialreports/story1.html?f=/stories/20020503/97012.html |

Okay - maybe 500 pairs of shoes - but not 5000! Jim - what exactly did this Racerchick Barbie look like? I must admit Mattel has been a great sponsor to an up and coming young female racer here - I appreciate a company that does that. Ken.........tooooooo much info there, dude

Sorry to disappoint you. But I'm not plastic, 38-12-36, with a hollow head and 5000 pairs of shoes. But most of all - my "Ken" would have genitals Nika Overworked/underpaid Cranky Office Worker Barbie |

And I received a US trademark too! I have Ferrari Barbie in a nomex suit with helmet and then another Ferrari Barbie in a red leather outfit, with fishnet stockings and her key to a 360. Like I EVER dress THAT way when driving my car NOOOOOOOOO! Sorry guys but she looks more like Tart Barbie than a Ferrari Barbie. They also produce 2 NASCAR Barbies which are top sellers. Anybody know a good lawyer??????? LOL |

If Nika did her Racerchick first, she should sue Mattel. |

I went by the Mattel outlet today since I was in Ft Worth, and saw the "Racerchick Barbie". It was Barbie, complete with a Ferrari racing outfit. Too bad it was Barbie not GI Joe. |
