I could be wrong but the ebay car s/n 46189 seems a little early for an 84? I lot of boxer owners like to call their car an 84 because they think it draws a premium

My 46000 mile 512BB 1979 registered car is available from www.theferraricentre.co.uk

It's had all the right things done, been used regularly since mechanical restoration in 1998. Body near perfect, seats great, carpets tatty. Time scale means cambelts due. Will get them done for new owner immediatley prior to delivery so they get maximum use before next change.

Really nice usable car.....35000 pounds sterling can take it away. Ready to go, trouble/expense free for 3 years minimum!!

I just want to cash it in and buy another one in Australia where I now live.

The price is firm, fair and realistic.

The first 79 has pretty ugly DOT bumper conversion. I had an 83 Queen, spent say 15k retail dollars to get it perfect. It was. But it had, say, 13k kilometers on it when i bought it in 1999-2000. Maybe just buy the "museum" piece as a parts car. Boxers are still underpriced in my view.

A Boxer is a great car and I love mine. But, beware of low mileage Boxers as they are not cheap to repair.

The 79 Boxer is in Gazelle, CA.

The dealership has several nice older Ferraris, but Gazelle seems to be just about in the middle of nowhere! What's this area like?

Here is another one with only 700 miles. Asking a bit too much though at 150K - I think it's the same guy trying to sell the 288 for 750K :

Not so surprising! We have two at the shop, 512BBi.
One never goes anywhere, for sale by widow with unrealistic expectations. Silver/Oxblood.

The other one, used often, is sweet! It's on the market as well, at a current value. Red/Tan

Awesome cars. Cavallino #136 has $100K as top dollar.

700 miles on the 79 BB. Hard to comprehend.

And for those Spinal Tap fans out there, it still has the "tagger" on it.

It can't be touched - don't point at it, don't look at it!

The '79 on eBay seems like it would be better suited for a car museum than a driver. With only 770 miles on it in 24 years, it's going to need a LOT of stuff replaced (tires, shocks, belts, etc.). The ad didn't mention that any servicing has been done. It's probably going to need a full engine out service and then some, to make it road worthy.

I have been seeing this one for a few months also - Was originally listed at 100K, but the price was dropped :

Not sure if I would prefer a boxer or a 355.
