Lets see..

Lots of Friends, My first drive in an F-car, Great Parties.

My first thought of Ferrari owners was a bunch of stuck up nose in the air jerks. BOY was I wrong!

What I found out is that a lot of you guys (and ladies) are hard working people who earned every bit of what you have. This inspires me to work just as hard and eventually reach those same goals of success and joy.

Thanks Everyone!

Ferrari Chat has helped me with fixing up my 308 that I purchased in December 2002 and still have not even sat in. But best of all, it has kept me sane while "doing time" in Kosovo now Baghdad. If it weren't for this site I'd go crazy. This is my ONLY Ferrari fix until I return home some day. I've met Ambassadors here at the Palace that see my windows background while fixing their computers and ask me if that car is my "dream car" at which I reply that I own it, but have never touched it...they get a big kick out of that :-) Well, just wanted to say hello to all and thanks for the support!

Take care and be safe!

Jordan would have to be the luckiest guy around. 7 Ferraris pulling up for his first ride. Im 22 and have never even sat in a Ferrari. Hopefully this will change when I visit LA in November :-)

It is a strong community.
It helped me when I purchased my first Ferrari.
It helped me to really enjoy every part of my Ferrari.
It also helped me when I lost a dear friend . Wolfgang and Bruce called me at home and were really friendly and caring. (thanks a lot for that!)
It helps to take my mind of work and relax.
It is great fun and it is a great group of users.

1: I learned what DES is...

2: Demystified the ownership experience - I bought my car before I found fchat, but now I've stopped being paranoid about potential repairs and started REALLY enjoying my car.

3: We now have a loose group of East Tennessee Ferrari-owners who met through fchat that are having drives, dinners, etc...

4: The Bikinis don't suck....

Lots of good people.
I learned that I could afford a 308 :-)
Then I learned that I don't want a ferrari " mantainance costs outrages" :-( still love them tho.

Then I learned the most valuable lesson of all
Money doesn't buy class.&
People are the same no matter how much money they have.

Thanks Mojo

I think the greatest thing about this site is that it's brought so many of us together from a regional, national and even international standpoint. If not for F-Chat, many of us would still own the cars but we wouldn't have been able to share and enjoy the experiences as much.

i would like to add that the passion and knowledge present here is a great commodity, from the tech and general help questions and answers, to say the restoration of the P4 that MR NAPOLIS has shared with us all.i have been on fchat for some time but have had to change my IP address a couple of times so i am always " the new guy". its a great privilage to be here and i hope to get a 308 very very soon. the the bikini pics page rocks !!!!!

I would say that Jordan Witherspoon has gotten the most out of FChat. Well done!

Me, I've gotten a lot of answers to questions. Rarely have I had to post a question, searching the archives I will usually come across someone elses post with the same problem.

There was a time back when I was frustrated with FChat because of all the bickering over petty issues. It has gotten a lot better.

Two months after I joined, I had 9 Ferraris pull up in front of my house and take me for my first ever rides in the cars. Months later I have had the wonderful opportunity to ride in several more Ferraris and even a few offers to drive some! My dreams came true! Not bad for a 17 year old :-)

Oh, Meeting up with DES was interesting as well :-)

Being a blue collar guy I was a bit hesitant to post at first but I found most everyone welcomed me and I have felt very comfortable chiming in from time to time.

-Met many great people in Indianapolis
-Received great advice both personally and through the threads mainly in off-topic
-Received 1 offer for a Ferrari ride, and hopefully will be able to take this up someday; also hope to meet Ferrarichat members in whichever bigger-than-I-live-in-now city in which I attend college

Like others here have stated, this place is the only window into the world of Ferrari (or any exotic cars)I have. This place is almost like a AA meeting where you can come and express how much you really enjoy these cars. I've been here I think for maybe close to a year now and have heard all kinds of amazing stories about high speed runs and amazing drives. I will get my first in person taste of what a Ferrari can do when I attend the event over in New Orleans. The anticipation is killing me!!!!!

I can't thank fchat enough. I have gotten rides in labcars 550 and in augustine's 328. Also I have had the honor of meeting Rob and many other fchatters at the Galloway(AC) meet this year. Fchat has also given me a great site to browse during study hall. But, besides the cars it is the people whether it is Martin sending ferrari stickers to someone helping out with a lighting problem like on my dad's 355. This site is a great group of car people. Also seeing pics of Mr. G's cars are awesome.

i've gotten so much from this website and the people here... i've met some really incredible people; i have great, great friends because of this website... i know more about Ferraris in the last year than i knew my entire life, prior...

i went to California and had an awesome time because of FerrariChat... (Matt, Jean-Louis, Byron, Sunny, Jordan, Ron, Bob, et al)
i got my first offer for a ride in a Ferrari because of FerrariChat... (Marq)
i got my first ride in a Ferrari because of FerrariChat... (EFWUN/550)
i drove my first semi-exotic-non-Ferrari (NSX) because of FerrariChat... (Billy Zissis)
i got my first ride in an exotic-non-Ferrari (Lotus) because of FerrariChat... (Billy Zissis)
One member even offered me a ride in his Lamborghini if i'm ever in his neck of the woods (never been in one)...
i drove my first Ferrari because of FerrariChat... (Ron)

i got an offer to ride in a plane or a helicopter because of FerrariChat... (Vernon Hill)
i have the chance to ride in and possibly drive a 360C on a track because of FerrariChat... (Steve Solomon)
i'm going to New Orleans in 20 days for the Ferrari French Quarter Classic because of FerrariChat... (John Houghtaling)
i've ridden in a bunch of really cool Ferraris because of FerrariChat... (Matt, Jean-Louis, Ron, Bob, Steve Schwartz, EFWUN, Todd Geiger, Bruce Wellington, Augustine Staino, Hutch, Dave White, Billy Zissis, etc.)
i was invited out to Utah for the unveiling of
the Enzo (Sean Harris)
i was even invited out to Germany...!

i met an owner of an actual, real racecar (James Glickenhaus)
There's so much more but more than any of that stuff, though, is the friendships... i've met some really cool people because of FerrariChat. For me, FerrariChat is a lot more than just a website... Thank you, everyone and thank you, FerrariChat. :-)

But the best thing...? i have the highest post count on the coolest website...! :-)

What is the best advice, ride, memory, etc? You have received from F-chat?
My best thing I got from f-chat was a ride/drive in Mike Charness & Dr Erik's Ferraris. So basically f-chat fulfilled one of my dreams. What have you gotten out of this site?
