Todd, If you use the 348 bolts on the 355 wheels, the bolt will protrude through the wheel an extra 3mm and there will be an extra 3mm of thread engagement in the hub. You will need to make sure that the extra 3mm in the hub is not fouling up on anything behind. You will also have to check that you are not bottoming out on the thread run out of the bolt. The bottom line is that you may be able to use the front bolts but you do need to check the above. FYI - We can supply a whole set (20) of 355 bolts for 159.00 ($250 - approx) We can supply a MIRA destruction test report on our range of wheel bolts if you have any concerns on quality. Paul

Hey Paul - the 95 348 is the wider track on the rear. Therefore, you're saying I only need new bolts on the rear (approx. $45.00 each?)and that the 348 bolts on the front will be OK? |

Todd, They should fit no problem Jeff Edison has a set on his twin turbo 348 - The front and rear lug bolts on most 348's were 55mm under the head and had sharp corners on the hexagon of the bolt. The 355 bolts are 3mm shorter under the head and have rounded corner on the hexagons. Seeing that you have a late 348 there is a possibility that you have the wider track wheels on the rear. You can easily check this by taking out one of your rear wheel bolts and measuring the dimension under the head. If you have 80mm you have the wider track wheels and would need 10 new bolts for the 355 wheels. (If you need new bolts we have plenty in stock) Regards Paul Hill Engineering - Ferrari Chat sponsor www.hill-engineering.co.uk

I am not sure, but I have seen a few cars with this set up - It looks really nice. Here's one on ebay with 355 wheels, shifter, and pedals : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=2435739480 |

Does anyone know if there is sufficient clearance for F355 Wheels on a 1995 348 Spider? Also, if the 355 wheels do fit correctly, can I use existing 348 lug nuts or do I need all new F355 lugs? |
