This F50 has a tubi exhaust installed and comes with the original exhaust system.
I could just imagine the sound!

The auction is legit and Dale is absolutely correct. Mike and Jim work together often.

>>I believe the auction is a scam...this same F50 is for sale in Michael Sheehan's website...<<

Not 100% sure of the relationship, but Sheehan and Jim Lyons partner up occasionally. Lyons does the newer stuff and Sheehan handles the old junkers, ha! (Just kidding about the junker part, I shoulda said classic.)

I was offered one for EURO 450,000. Times 1.17 right now will give you the US Dollar.

To me they are noth worth $100,000. I plain do not like them.

I know of at least 6 different F50's for sale in europe at the moment, prices vary from Euro 450.000 - 650.000.
A "high milage" F50 is everything over 20.000 km!
I call that just broken in.

Amenasce, is that in US Dollars?

Mark - saw that Black-on-Black-offered Red F-50 in the wee hours of 10/02 - the crackhead I gave a cigarette to apparently liked it, too. He sure hollered a lot.

I don't think it's a scam. You may notice that in the Comments section of the "more information page" for the F50 on Sheehan's site it notes:

quote:

2003, 25 August, offered for sale By Ferraris-online and by The Sports Car Company.

The eBay auction is by Sports Car Company, if you look at their "other auctions" there are a number of other Ferraris listed which appear to correspond with those listed on SCC's Ferrari Inventory page.

I believe the auction is a scam...this same F50 is for sale in Michael Sheehan's website...

http://www.ferraris-online.com/cars/FE-F50-104177/main.shtml'

The contact phone numbers from the auction and Mr. Sheehan's website dont match either.

There might be some sort of explanation but I wouldnt trust the auction...

Mark, F50 prices will undoubtedly vary but when we're talking three quarters of a million dollars, is $30,000 really a huge difference...?

(BesiDES, once you've paid that new registration fee they've got in Cali, you're probably paying around the same amount...!:-))

Troy, it's a three-quarters-of-a-million-dollars car, the starting bid seems pretty reasonable... Plus, there won't be dozens of bidders for this car, as for let's say, a 1:18 F50, so unless the bid increment is fairly steep, i'd say the starting bid makes sense...
