Shelbee (FS),
Standard ones look good on your car. At least IMHO. What do you plan to do with the old ones if you do get modulars?

I guess we can call DES a rookie on the wheels issue :-)

I am debating whether should even get one. Got pretty good deal on the table.

IMO silver 360 spider looks better with the modular wheels than with standard 360 wheels

Ok..from the dealer stand point...

The 3 piece MODULAR wheels have had issues. This is not just with the F cars...most 3 piece mass produced wheels have had issues with losing air over time. Not an overnight thing, but subtle.

On a brand new 550 B, we had to replace 3 of the 4 rims. The rims manuf. does not want you to take apart the rim and fix it, so we send them back.

DES--what it is..they are a 3 piece design. There is a seal internaly. This is what "fails", but in reality, it may be one of the bolts that hold the wheel together not being tight enough.

Omar, are you familiar with a 'leaking' rim or is it just something about the wheel that makes the tire leak, thus causing the flat...?

F512M Mag rims did that. Early 550 Mag rims also had issues. I havent heard of issues related to non-mag rims...as of yet.

I have heard that the wheels leak and cause flat tire. Anyone experiencing such a thing??

Thanks,

Shelbee
