I guess we can call DES a rookie on the wheels issue I am debating whether should even get one. Got pretty good deal on the table. IMO silver 360 spider looks better with the modular wheels than with standard 360 wheels   | ||

Ok..from the dealer stand point... The 3 piece MODULAR wheels have had issues. This is not just with the F cars...most 3 piece mass produced wheels have had issues with losing air over time. Not an overnight thing, but subtle. On a brand new 550 B, we had to replace 3 of the 4 rims. The rims manuf. does not want you to take apart the rim and fix it, so we send them back. DES--what it is..they are a 3 piece design. There is a seal internaly. This is what "fails", but in reality, it may be one of the bolts that hold the wheel together not being tight enough. | ||

Omar, are you familiar with a 'leaking' rim or is it just something about the wheel that makes the tire leak, thus causing the flat...? | ||

F512M Mag rims did that. Early 550 Mag rims also had issues. I havent heard of issues related to non-mag rims...as of yet. | ||

I have heard that the wheels leak and cause flat tire. Anyone experiencing such a thing?? Thanks, Shelbee |
