The ENZO is a car you can't have.

A DayDream car sucks?

If you are a millionaire many times over you can have an ENZO. But hey if you're a millionaire your life is already full of fun things, so it can't be that big of a deal.

Maybe Ferrari didn't want a car to go head-to-head with the top class Lambo. That price-class is empty by Ferrari's current market line-up.

Its a $350,000 car that Ferrari decided to limit production numbers and artificially drive up the per-unit-cost / price. At Ferrari when it comes to the ENZO the average customer exist for one reason,.. to be teased.

The fan is so mesmerized, they reply "Thanks for screwing us Ferrari, may I kiss youre a$$ and have another." LOL

I like the look but William is correct when he says it looks like a damn "moon buggy" First Ferrari I've ever seen that looks bad in red.

Car looks real good in Black or Yellow! Because it hides the lines.

If you had a million laying around? Can you think of anything better to spend it on? Than 1 car?

Oh Brucey, you tool. If you want, I can show you the title, but id like to see yours also, or are you still making payments?

The 355 is a nice design, but it does not get me excited. To me its nice in a way that a Nsx is nice. The 512, now thats bad-ass.

To be honest, Warren, I think the Enzo looks terrible. I am impressed with the performance and technology in it, but I think it is singularly ugly. It's good that it's different, but did it have to be unproportional and ugly?

Here's the specifics of what I don't like:
The front tries to evoke F1 themes with its nose, but it is too broad and flat to be anything remotely like an F1 nose cone. It is also full of sharp angles and flat panes, highlighted by those sinfully elongated lights.

The rear flanks, on the other hand, have very nice and subtle curves over the wheel wells. This looks great by itself, but doesn't gel with the front at all.

The side is simply hideous because of how the front and rear clash and also because of the high sills on the windows, which makes the car look somewhat unfinished. Why they couldn't make it flush with the basic curve is beyond me.

The other thing I don't like is that the cockpit is too much of a bubble for what is basically a low, wide car. I wish it were lower, that would make it look a lot better. It would make the stance more of a crouch, and the look more brooding/hooded.

The back is nice. Wide, low, full of interesting design themes like the protruding lights. I like the details, I like the shallow convex curve along the top, etc.

I do love the performance, even the electronic aids. I think anything that enables ordinary people to exploit the power and performance to its fullest is a good thing. Only expert drivers can do better than the car with its electronic gizmos enabled. But you can always turn the helpers off if you want to experience it raw.

Too bad it looks like a pterodactyl.

I love the Enzo. It is a fantastic automobile. But to me, it is an unrealistic automobile. It will cost you 4 times as much as a Murcielago. In some ways the Enzo is a failure, as it still cannot out accelerate a 10 year old Mclaren.

Give me an Enzo, with performance on par with the Murcielago, for $300,000, and id buy both. For $690,000 or the more realistic $1,000,000 price, i'd have several cars in my garage, including an F40 and that yellow 512.

As for just the styling of the Enzo, i love it. Nothing else looks like it, it is an EXOTIC, not like the other dull and uninspired designs coming from Ferrari lately.

Allan, I see you post on here a lot, and you seem very opionated, which is good on a chat forum. I don't always agree with everything you say, but most of it makes sense. In the Scaglietti 612 post, you clearly show your...disgust? for the car, lol. After you compliment the 512M, which I agree is an amazing car. I just want to know what you think of the Enzo design. Obviously when it was released it was very controversial, and took a while to grow on me, now I love it. In you opinion do you think the Enzo carries the Ferrari tradition and Heritage with it? Or is it another design that Lamborghini engineers wouldnt even want in their scrapbooks?

Just curious.

Warren.
