The Testarossa has seats which adjust in height, the 512TR does not have that faeture any more. Hence, at 6'-2" I only fit in the Testarossa

Jumbo Elliot who played NFL football has a 550, I am sure he had the seat modified. This guy must b like 6'7" + & WAY over 250 #

I'm 6'4" and about 250 lbs., and got into Billy's TR at a show recently, and found it extremely uncomfortable. Didn't think I could drive it for more than a few minutes due to lack of room for my frame.

I've tried all the new Ferraris as well, and the 550 and 456 have no room at all. Surprisingly, the 360 has plenty of room for big guys like us.

I've also fit fairly comfortably into a 348 and a 355. Surprisingly, my 246 is extremely comfortable for large drivers.

Don't buy something you don't fit into; it will ruin your enjoyment.

Some of it depends how your 6'3" is distributed - the preferred configuration is longer torso with shorter legs. This allows you to slide the seat up a bit and then recline to comfort.
If you happen to be in Southern California, give me a blast on the board here and we'll see what we can do about a ride.

Michael;
in response to your dilema;
there is no height you can associate with a fit.
I am 6'4'' and fit okay in a Testa. Not the best fit but hey, they were not build for comfort.
You need to try yourself. See if a Testa owner is living near you and if they have outings. I am sure if you show up at one of their outings you can sit in one and maybe can catcha ride with an owner and get some real inside in the car.

5'10" with my helmet I may b 6'0" & my helmet is right on the roof. U can have the seat tracks modified or put a seat in with a shorter bottom to gain more headroom, or u can take the headliner out

Gents,

I have been lurking for a while, time to throw my hat into the ring. I am thinking of taking the plunge in the next year and I am looking into obtaining a TR. I have a major concern at this point which may spoil my dreams. It would seem that my 6 foot 3 inch frame is not what was in mind during the design process for the TR.

My question to the group, what are the height's of other owners who drive TR's and just how comfortable do you feel. I think it was Christian who mentioned that his had the seat lowered. Is this possible, cost etc.

Thanks in advance,

Michael Morgan
