Rob I know this is way down on the list but I did check out my fog lites this weekend. Mine are the clear lenses in the lower corners under the parking lites/directionals. For some reason, mine are dead and the bulbs are loose inside. I'm having difficulty getting to them because they cant be removed from the front like the directionals/parking lites. I see one screw on one side from the back but it looks near unreachable down under where the headlite assembly retracts. There are two wires going to the bulb with a square rubber seal that snaps to the back of the housing. I have not checked the relay yet but since the bulbs are loose in the housing, these do need attention. |

Hey Jerry , I'm in telecom too! What does a Ferrari and a Dsl line have in common. They're both fast , and impossible to repair. ( I know lame joke - just kidding ) ... |

Thanks for the tips on the cyclists. I am aware of Norwood Autocraft. From what I understand they are among a very few great shops in this country. I have not taken the plunge on a car yet..but soon. I have met a few of the guys a Norwoods and you are right they are really great. The shop manager... John,Rich... something like that (office directly in front of you when walking in) broke into the biz because of his love for Ferrari and racing. A cute story, ask him about it. The cars in there on a daily basis awe me. I am in the telecommunications field and visit the shop when I go to see one of our venders, Litecom, two doors down. |

The place I was talking about is east on Renner from 75. The easiest way to get there though is take the new 190 (George Bush) east to the Renner exit (about 1-2 miles east of 75), then take Renner east about 1 block and make a left. There is some type of office park sign, but no office park. Drive down that road until you see the bricks at the intersection. This is the spot. There's one business down on the North East corner, but nothing else. The reason I heard about it was we have bike races there every Tuesday night in the summer. Also, be careful, because many cyclists like to use this for a training spot. I get mine worked on at Bob Norwood's. They're cheaper than Ferrari of Dallas and they have some great mechanics there. I trust them when I walk in and see an F50, 288 GTO, 360, Diablo, and several other assorted Ferraris. Is this where you go or somewhere else? I can't wait for the FCA meet, I've never been to one before, but it sounds like a great time. |

Rob328, I read the wife driving story...what area were you in? I also live in Dallas. Who do you take your prize to for maintenance? Are you going to attend FCA 2001 in Las Colinas? Sorry so many questions. Jerry |

Hmm, I always thought my fog lights were not original. Do you think they could of been a factory option? There is a little switch on the console forward of the stick by my legs. There are Driving - Off - Fog positions. I've never seen another 328 with this before. |

I do have the switch (last row behind the gearshift lever) and I don't have the bulbs. I will disassemble and try to find out if there are wires and places for bulbs. P.S. I do have a "Euro" model and it may be different than the USA version. |

I was always under the impression that those were the fog lights on a 328. If so, the switch would be located on the center console behind the gear lever. If fog lights were an option then if no light bulbs behind the lenses, then no switch. I'm going on a wild guess here. |

I'm not sure if all 328's have this or not. I'll check. I love my fog/driving lights, but I guess it wouldn't score points at a concours. |

Looks like you added some kind of "driving" or fog lights to the front. Having just recently purchased a 328 myself, I noticed that there are two 'dead' lamp lenses(clear) in the lower front corners that maybe could be used for something like this. Does anyone have any info on what these are for or if they can be converted for actual use? |
