HI all..Mitch did a great job and the link Randy put in has a few good pics of the lineup about halfway through the drive. The fire added some real excitement. Hope more of you can make the spring event. Overall a great weekend with Italian Car Day and the Mountain Drive....Mitch thanks again for setting it up. Dwayne had a blast in the company Elise :)

Hi everyone!! Thanks Frank! It was a complete success. Only problem, I had to recalibrate the route due to a road closure from a forest fire in the mountains!! It was pretty crazy to see a whole mountain on fire. I took SO many pics, I will try and get them off the camera tonight.

The whole day was perfect, and everyone really had a great time. One thing stood out to me that I thought was really cool. We were on a nice twisty mountain road, and some parts had a lot of traffic, and LOTS of motorcycles. Well, I was in a silver/blue 88 Mondial 3.2 coupe (gorgeous) going about 70mph in a 45mph, and all of a sudden these 2 superbikes flash by us, and one of them is doing a wheelie all the ways past us and 4 other cars at like 100+ on a narrow 2 lane!! I was loving it! Some of those bikers are totally out of their minds. What a great day! I will post pics of Italian Car Day too!

We had 30 cars attend. 8 Ferraris (308 GT4, Testarossa, 330 GTC, a 330 GT 4 headlight, Mondial Cab, Mondial 3.2 coupe, a 308, a 328 Frank Parker's killer 348 Spider), 12 Lotuses (including 2 Elises!), 3 Porsches, a couple a Alfas, including 1 of 2 2000 Alfa GTV V6s! What a cool car!, a few NSXs and a couple a Fiat Spiders and an Audi. The weather was flawless, we are having another drive in the spring. Thanks to everyone who came out! I just had a blast!

Any ideas on the number of cars participating?
How were the roads? Were there a good number of
different makes/models?

Thanks :)

How did things go at the Exotic Car Mountain Drive to North Georgia? Any good stories? Pictures?
