I just bought this on ebay. Not sure if I'll keep the box un-opened, or build it. Kinda fun, since the Magnum show was what first got me going on Ferrari. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1664982645&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1006399928&indexURL=0&rd=1 |

No one makes the Ferrari 308(manufacturer wise). Anson was going to awhile back but never followed through with it. Heres a link to someone that made a 308 in 1/18 (resin i think, i can't read Italian) Ferrari 308 1/18 . The site may be down however , because of Geocities & their new "data transfer" rules. Hot Wheels does make a 308 GTS(with the top off) in 1/64, it is a "China" car made a few years ago. I've seen it in red & yellow, check Ebay. The 66 275 GTB/4 is made by Ertl. They came in yellow, red & white. The yellow is the rarest, the red is somewhat common & the white one is the cheapest of the bunch. I bought a white one & repainted it yellow. I added the wheels from a HW/Mattel 250 GTO(if you see the original wheels the Ertl comes with, you'll know why i changed them).

Guys. I have a 308, hot wheels version. I have it dangling from my rearview mirror w/ 10lb test fishing line. It is kind of neat having the hot wheels version inside the real thing! I have had a lot of positive comments. You can find the hot wheels version 308 at most hobby stores. Only thing is, my hot wheels is a GTB version and my car is GTS. Oh well, close enough. By the way, why is it with the most mass production car Ferrari ever made, the 308, and no larger models to be found? Were they ever made? I'd like one if anyone has any connections... |

Scott, where did you get those 275s? I've got an F50, 348, 456, 550, 355 and 360 all in 1/18, plus all the small hotwheels. I'm going to get one of the 1/18 Anson 328's someday, but am hoping for a white one. I saw a 1/18 308 on ebay once about 6 months ago, but it was in Australia and had the mirrors broken off. |

Believe it or not I got the cases at IKEA. I'm bidding on e-bay on a 328 GTS black from Italy. It's made by Anson but nolonger produced. I've got other glass cases from IKEA as well. |

You guys would be sick if you saw my automotive memorobilia collection. It boggles my mind still. I have about 3500 die cast cars. I wish someone would make a 1/18 scale 308 GTS. I have a nero metallico 1/43 308 GTB. I have never seen a nice 308 GTS model...sans the 40 Matchbox 308s I have. |

Nice collection J! My collection is only a few AutoArts and the rest just regular Maisto's. However, I still have somewhere, some Corgi James Bond Lotus and Aston Martin models - you know, even the DB model with the ejecting passenger? |

I don't understand why nobody makes the 308. I think that Hot Wheels would sell a boat load of them if they ever made it. I've got about 60 models (mostly Ferrari) of Italian cars. I just ordered a 328 Anson from Italy along with a Daytona GTB (off ebay). Very good prices. The seller is named Davide. Next time I'm in Jersey I'll check this place out. Here's a pic of some of my cars...

The EWA store is nice, and they have a good selection. For those in NJ they are on rt 22 (the double duce for those of us from Jersey) eastbound about 10 miles east of 287, and 6 miles west of Plainfield. I bought a few things there including some videos in the TR, and some great mags / books. |

In the past, there were some requests for info regarding avail of models. I just got the EWA catalog and there are 59 models of F1 Ferraris, from 1951 to 2001, and 2 pages of Ferrari road and race cars from 1947 on. Most are 1/43rd scale, some are 1/18th. Most are $28-$55, but there is a 1/43 scale model of 275 GTB Daytona prototype for $199, a Steve Mcqueen NART spyder at $189, and some expensive kits. Yes 246's, no 308's. www.ewacars.com |
